非常棒的酒店，不像汽車旅館，湖景房漂亮，可惜衹訂了二晚，期待下次帶女兒孩子們一起過來再訂這樣的湖景房，房間窗户門外可以走出去游泳及湖邊有熱水泡浴，非常贊，而且是華人老闆。

The room finishings are dated and worn. The only opening window was screwed closed making the room uncomfortably stuffy. The owners are profiting from location demand rather than accommodation quality. Water pressure is excessive with water noise intrusion from surrounding units, also the hot water is not tempered and dangerous hot

Prepaid and this place would not let us move our booking due to Covid. Asked if they would consider letting us move our booking for 2 weeks later at a discounted rate and they refused. Didn't even want to know what dates we would like stay. No leeway at all.

Have stayed here previously and its always great. I was charged an additional $30 cleaning fee as it was ANZAC day. The room rate advertised should have included this surcharge.

We rolled into Taupo late in the afternoon with lots of choices for lakeside accommodation. We chose Clearwater Lodge Motel and checked into a ground floor, lake view room. It was very clean and comfortable so no problem there. On check in - the man made sure we knew check out was 10am. At 10:01 the housekeeper knocked on the door. We said we were just 5 minutes away from leaving. We promptly packed the luggage in our car and then walked down to the Two Mile Beach Boat Club for brunch (which we can highly recommend - it’s a great spot). When we returned the “host” and his wife were glaring at us for leaving the car in the carpark after we had checked out. The only other car in the car park was theirs! We are accommodation operators ourselves and believe in “Value Adding” but clearly the owners/operators of this motel do not. I’ve they have your money all bets are off!

Not your average motel room!
A last minute booking during a very busy week in Taupo. Right on the lake front, a large spacious room. Super clean, comfy bed and good shower! Also a large comfy couch. Will stay again.

Stayed here and could not wait to leave. Never had an experience like it before with any accommodation. Place is not clean at all, stains on the sheets and hairs. Staff are useless. We were polite and showed pictures. They said we must have done it. Hardly, when we had checked in 5 mins prior.
