Quest on Durham

We had a very comfortable two nights. The room was spacious, the kitchenware was sufficient, and we could cook by ourselves. To our surprise, there was also a washing machine in the room. The bathroom was large and had facilities for the disabled, which was very friendly for the elderly to take a bath. The reception staff were all very enthusiastic and provided information. We really liked it here.

Room size is nice,kitchen and laundry facilities are great.

The room was delightfully spacious, far exceeding expectations based on the photos, and featured a long, inviting entrance. It was well-equipped, including a convenient kitchen. However, we did encounter issues. The air conditioning was broken, and the provided portable unit proved insufficient. The spa bath unfortunately expelled some brown sediment, rendering the bath water unusable. Scaffolding from a nearby construction site obstructed the view entirely. While the listing advertised a gym and sauna, access was restricted to residents only, preventing us from using them. We booked rather late in the day, around 6 pm, unaware that the reception desk closed at 5 pm. This necessitated contacting trip for assistance, as we couldnt make international calls to the duty manager. Ample free parking was available outside, but the basement parking, while convenient, incurred a $15 charge, which seemed unnecessary given the availability of free spaces. Overall, the stay was acceptable, though somewhat underwhelming.
