This hotel is not recommended: 1. As a hotel located in Te Anau, the entire hotel only has a dozen or so parking spaces. You have to fight for parking spaces. If you don't know, you think it is in Queenstown; 2. The door lock is very old and difficult. Open, I couldn't open the door when I took the key at first, I had to unlock the door + push the door in at the same time; 3. The price is not cheap, the asking price is more than 900, the village inn next door only costs less than 800, and the so-called lake view room is also It was quite obscured by the ceiling on the first floor of their house, and only part of the lake view could be seen.

Go to Milford Sound and stay in Te Anau for one night. The hotel is right on the lake. You can see the lake when you open the curtains in the room. Parking is very convenient.

We loved Te Anau. The loft was great. Comfortable bed. Nice decor. The community kitchen was well stocked with supplies and clean. We appreciated being able to do laundry. The property was well-located and peaceful.

A great site for our post-Milford Track recovery night. A hot shower, comfortable bed, clean room and friendly staff. Easy access to restaurants and shopping.

Awesome location, killer lake views!!!! We booked a private room and it seem brand new, we were there with 10 people ( in different room) Friendly staff and very helpful and good price too. Beautiful Host !!!! If we have a chance we’ll back definitely in the future.

My stay at Lakewood Lofts in Te Anau was the highlight of my trip around New Zealand. This place is truly a gem! Situated right on the lake, the location couldn't be more perfect. The experience of watching the snowfall over the lake from the comfort of the Lofts was nothing short of magical. The serene and picturesque setting provided an unforgettable backdrop to our stay. Everything about Lakewood Lofts, from the warm and inviting atmosphere to the stunning natural beauty right at our doorstep, was absolutely wonderful. It's a rare find that offers a perfect blend of comfort and natural beauty. I can't recommend it enough to anyone visiting Te Anau.
