Momo's Hostel

Great location! Right across from the Mediterranean beach front & park. Lots of food & snack options with plenty of extracurricular opportunities also (running, biking, escooters, massage shops, outdoor exercise equipment, surfing, vast picnic areas, etc). Diverse community of people too! The staff have all been great so far as my encounters. Very responsive by phone and on site with kind attitudes. If you are needing a quick-crash for the short term and can stand a little dust and frump, I’d definitely recommend it here.

Momo's is a good place to stay in Tel Aviv if you're needing a place on a budget. It's pretty clean, and has a refrigerator in the lobby for you to store food. The staff is very helpful. The room had a TV with movies.

Let me tell about my experience at the Momo´s hostel! I had just arrived from a long day trip to the Palestinian territories, walked two flights of stairs, when I entered my small room I remembered I didn´t have any water left to take my sleeping pills. So I thought should walk two flights of stairs up and down and go to the market next door, or drink from the faucet? I thought “why not” I had just read that was ok to drink water from the faucet in Israel and since that was my 3rd trip to Israel I saw no harm! boy how I was wrong!!!!!! Next morning I woke up and went to the market to get some water, juices and things for my breakfast, when I came back my stomach started feeling a little troubled, and then started a 3day long d***** fast! Three days of my s***** all over. I had violent d*****, like if I came back from the bathroom, it took me a minute sitting down to have another. On the afternoon of the 3rd day I was feeling empty and soft I decided to go out and get some fresh air, when I was walking down the stairs I saw an old man who works at the hotel, and I said to him “Can you send some one to clean my room please?” and he said “yes” I took a walk for about half an hour and when I went back to the hotel the old man was waiting by the door side for me! And he said “no one is here to clean your s****” . and I said to him ”ok, give me a bucket, a mop, some towel paper and soap and I will do your job” in less then 5 min he grabbed everything I asked for, I agree no one is required to clean my s**** but at least some help! I spent the next 6 hours on my knees and hands on the floor cleaning everything up. I ended up with a neck problem that was fixed 8 days later when I returned home. I couldn´t stand my head I had to hold it to look at some one!!! I lost 2-day trips that I really wanted to do. The location is great, there are many good restaurants around, a market on the corner but I read the reviews for this hostel I think I went to another place!

Perfect location, near the beach and everything you need. For a few nights is ok. Bed was fine. Although the bad reviews, my single room was good, clean. Showers and toilets were clean too. Staff friendly and helpful. This place definitely need a renovation but overall I was satisfied. The only thing was that the checkin time on bookingssites is 12.00 but the accommodation checkin time is 14.00.

Moldy ceilings, smoke-filled building, springs coming out of the mattress, walls with chipped paint… i’m not sure what was worse the condition of the building or the health risk from staying one night! Definitely spend the extra money and stay somewhere else.

I confirmed this hotel had ac before arrival. When I arrived, the room did not have ac and I was told no rooms did. I left after one night

This place should not even be on *******... Everyone, go away
