Holiday Inn Telavi

Great place to stay on a short business trip.

This is a refreshingly modern and stylish hotel located in the heart of Telavi. Surrounded by vineyards and mountain vistas, this hotel doesnt feel like a typical boring Holiday Inn hotel, but a bit more young in character and vibe. LOCATION:Located in the heart of old town(right across the main fortress) within stone’s throw away from all attractions and points of interest DINE + DRINK: Multipel F & B options on site. The 5th floor restaurant comes with stellar views. The Lobby level restaurant serves Georgian cuisine and the 1st floor bar/cafe is a great place to get a sunset drink or morning cup of java. ROOM: We stayed in Room 209, so this review is based on that; SIZE: Spacious enough for 2 adults and simple baggage; VIEW: Lateral view of the town and fortress ; AIR-CON: Perfectly functioning cooler that helped in setting the perfect room temperature; BED: Comfortable bed that played the expected part of putting us to sleep; BATHROOM: Stand-in shower; TOILETRIES: Good Toiletries by DOVE brand FACILITIES: A dingy and compact gym stuffed inside a small room that has very limited set of weights and machines. But the rooftop Swimming pool is indoor and heated and great for a fine aqua workout! SERVICE: Friendly staff that took care of all our needs with a smile and made us feel at home and well taken care of. HOW WIRED YOU WILL BE: Free Wi-Fi that works well all over the property, and the speed is good! Small Plasma TV dishing out a wide variety of channels spanning sports, news, music, movies, and entertainment in multiple languages

Great location, clean ,valued for money. Sopo, a receptionist who checked in us was very nice, helpful and smart, I did a mistake on booking the bed type of room, she handled it very fast and perfectly. I would recommend this place. 10 out of 10.

Maria and I travelled to Azerbaijan, Georgia and Armenia with Tripadeal, an Australian Travel Company. Of all the Hotels were stayed at, during this wonderful trip, Holiday Inn Telavi stands out as being the best. It is a new Hotel. We were welcomed by a beaming, friendly Manager. We had read that the Hotel offered a Coupon for a drink at the Bar but that was not the case. We were provided with a very nice room and ensuite on the 5th floor which is also where the Hotel Restaurant is located. There we were welcomed by the most efficient, beautiful Mariam. There was nothing which she couldn't do!! We commend her for her efficiency and service. We had dinner at the Restaurant. We were pleased with how quickly we were served our meals which were very good and not expensive. There, while having our dinner, we spoke to a young Georgian lady who was taking part at a Conference. When I asked what the topic of the Conference was, she replied, in very good English and English is the second language in Georgia, that they were trying to critically evaluate and counter the dissemination of falsehoods emanating from Russia. Georgia is an independent country and is fully decided to stand on its own feet. In fact, we learned that they resent Russians who visit Georgia and treat the country as it were their own. Graffiti on the walls clearly indicated how Georgians feel towards Russia. Telavi is a beautiful city. We recommend this Hotel to everyone. Hopefully they will be served by Mariam!

The Holiday Inn is smack in the middle of town and has splendid views from the breakfast room onto the fortress. Check-in was most friendly and smooth. I got room 501, which is modern standards, generous size, very clean ; everything you would expect was provided : good TV with excellent choice of international channels, good wifi, minibar, free water and safe. Hygienic bathroom with dual-function shower, pump bottles and crisp white towels. Breakfast is on the top floor, good choice of fresh food, friendly service and great views. Top spot !

Everytime I go to Kakheti I stay in this hotel. Great place to visit. the staff is super super helpful, food is great, they have options for European and traditional Georgian Kitchen. Clean and big Rooms, try to book executive room as you will get unbelievable view of the mountains.
