Since this hotel was taken over by a professional managers, all my visits are outstanding. Ela is a pleasure to deal with and has always a solution. We came in last Sunday for a late lunch and made no reservation as it was a last minute decision and when arrived and despite they were so busy Ela assisted us with a table and it is worth to mention, it was 14 of us. The food was delicious and served almost instantly, the staff were polite and very efficient, the atmosphere is happy and upbeat and it was great to see and chat with Mario. My favorite place and I would always highly recommend. No wonder they are always so busy, they make their customers very happy.

My wife and I returned today after 4 nights in River Island Hotel. We found a friendly hotel with a warm welcome. Rooms were probably basic but very clean and comfortable and had all the amenities required. My mobility isn't great but there is a lift. You can't call it to the front door but reception which is up a few steps will send it down to you if you need it. Buffet breakfast is plentiful and evening meals are delicious so we ate there each night. We would certainly plan on staying there again. Value was amazing for the quality of the hotel.

After a long and lovely trip to Ireland (my first) it was delightful to spend a quiet day and night at the hotel in anticipation of an early morning flight. Well rested, I was delighted by assistance (I have limited mobility) all the way from the hotel across the parking lot pathway to the airport. It was the epitome of compassion and kindness, exhibited throughout Ireland, but as a final reminder of the warmth and generosity of the Emerald Isle.

Devon Inn Hotel

I stopped into the Devon inn. To get something to eat I have passed the door often but my first time stopping. I was greeted by a smiling face as I entered seated promptly and ordered quickly. The food was divine gambas pil pil to start and fillet steak cooked to perfection for a change. Medium rare which I find so hard to get in Ireland. The service was impeccable Darina my server was a credit to the establishment and I would definitely recommend stopping for lunch or dinner. There is a huge car park and easy access back onto the road
