!!! VOLEURS ENTRÉS DANS MA CHAMBRE EN PLEINE NUIT DURANT MON SOMMEIL EN FORÇANT LA SERRURE ET AUCUNE NOUVELLE DE L’HÔTEL POUR LE REMBOURSEMENT DES OBJETS VOLÉS !!! Pire hôtel que je n’ai jamais fait, voici mon périple chez « l’hôtel » (entre guillemets car je ne considère pas cela comme un hôtel) Arcadia. Bonjour, J’ai passé 3 nuits dans cet hôtel cet été, lors d’un roadtrip en Italie. Nous sommes arrivés, le personnel n’était ni aimable ni désagréable. La chambre ne correspondait pas à ce qui a été demandé sur booking : 2 lits séparés, mais nous avons eu 1 lit double. La première et seconde nuit se sont plutôt bien passés, malgré un peu de bruit dans les couloirs et une isolation de la lumière peu efficace et bien sûr, si je passe sur le fait que la chambre sentait mauvais, que le ménage ne semblait pas avoir été fait, que la salle de bain était pourrie et que le lit devait avoir 40 ans au vu de son inconfort. Petit déjeuner horrible, pain sec, pas de jus d’orange dans la machine, le chocolat chaud avait un goût très étrange, … La troisième nuit fut une horreur, un cauchemar. Je me suis réveillé en sursaut suite à un bruit fort dans le couloir (la porte de la sortie secours se fermant), je me suis donc levé et ai vu la porte de ma chambre ouverte, je l’ai donc fermé. J’ai réagis et remarqué quelques minutes plus tard que mon téléphone et écouteurs sans fils avaient disparus… Un voleur a forcé ma porte et est rentré dans ma chambre durant mon sommeil… C’est le plus gros cauchemar que l’ont peut vivre dans une chambre d’hôtel… heureusement que je ne me suis pas réveillé durant le vol, mais quelques instants plus tard lorsque la porte de la sortie de secours a claqué (elle était juste à côté de ma chambre) Donc déposition faite à la gendarmerie, l’hôtel me dit de leur transmettre les factures des éléments volés afin qu’ils les transmettent à leur assurance. Les semaines qui ont suivi j’ai pu avoir des nouvelles (en les relançant plusieurs fois)… et depuis, plus aucune nouvelle, je les ai relancé une dizaine de fois sans avoir aucun retour…. Des voleurs, des menteurs, une sécurité très faible dans leur hôtel…. Je ne peux donc que vous recommander d’aller voir un autre hôtel, c’est le plus grand cauchemar de toute ma vie. Et si je m’étais réveillé durant le vol et que le voleur avait un couteau ?? Que se serait-il passé ??? Depuis je suis stressé en hôtel et mets ce que je peux devant la porte pour que ça fasse du bruit lors de l’ouverture de celle-ci… Pire hôtel que je n’ai jamais fait

Owners are the best and really treat you well. Rates are great. Super Clean! From the rooms to the parking lot, very clean and well kept. A quiet, comfortable and safe place to stay. Real coffee pot and real coffee cups in the room. Highly recommend. A little dated, but the cleanliness makes up for that.

Older property with many more recent upgrades; friendly staff and spotlessly clean and everything worked; refrigerator and coffee maker in room. Convenient parking and convenient location, would stay here again.

More than I expected. Clean, nicely furnished and well maintained. The person at the front desk was very helpful. Parking was extremely close. Would highly recommend and plan to stay here again when in the area. Carpet looked clean and the best thing for me was that it was triple sheeted. A must for me.

I can not say enough good things about my 3 day stay here. From the check in to the departure, everything was wonderful. This is an older property (I remember it from my childhood) but the room was very clean and nicely decorated. They made sure that everything was comfy and secure. The room had a comfortable couch in which to sit and watch TV, as well as nice beds with beautiful bedding and 6 pillows in each bed! They have a new power method that I thought was clever and efficient. The location is perfect for what I needed. The pricing was a great value. I will stay again. Thank you, Arcadia, for taking good care of me.

The outside of the hotel has a definite disconnect to the insides of the rooms. The staff was super nice and courteous. They have a energy saving light system that was an amazing concept. The rooms were large and comfortable. They had a great movie selection as well as comfortable beds with nice linens. Definitely recommend giving this place a shot!

Was in town for a wedding and booked the hotel based on TripAdvisor. When we got to town and saw the outside, we were nervous about staying here. We gave it a chance and we are glad we did. Check in was wonderful and the gentleman who welcomed us made us feel as if he was glad to see us and was so helpful when showing us how to use the key card. While the motel is older, it was clean and the rooms were very inviting.

Made reservations on line with ***********. Was easy to find in the dark. Very personable and friendly check in. A little dated, very clean. Interesting way to turn on electric to the room with your room key. The down blanket was a little too heavy for our taste and pillows covered with plastic uncomfortable. Wish disposable coffee and drink cups were available. Would we stay here again.? Yes, but will bring our pillows/blankets/and disposable items from our stash in our car. Oh, no breakfast available either.

Wonderful local hotel with clean, cozy rooms and exceptionally friendly service. The facilities are older and the rooms on the small side, but the owners have gone out of their way to appoint with comfortable, attractive furnishings and nice details such as actual ceramic mugs and a separate basket for used towels. I also appreciate the environmentally conscious choices like key-powered electricity. The man who checked us in was incredibly helpful and gave clear instructions for the use of everything. We arrived kind of late (well, late for Gering, NE), and my boyfriend mentioned to him that we were hoping to order food. The clerk not only found us menus but took it upon himself to call a local restaurant and then call our room to let us know they were open and expecting us. Thanks, Arcadia Hotel!

Our host, Tom Wen and his wife Jessica run a well-kept older hotel. It is very clean and kept up. It has a microwave, and a small refrigerator and internet service. Tom is a joy to visit with and the rooms were cleaned after we left every day, and we keep late nights, so they came in at various times to clean. It is centrally located in the Scottsbluff valley. And is half the price of most other hotels in the area. If you don't have to have everything new and updated, I highly recommend this hotel. We stayed seven days before returning home to Alaska. We will use it again when in the area. There is also a Chinese Buffet close that is very good.
