We were upgraded to a ”mansion” room, which was very nice. However getting up to the room with heavy bags was not easy for older people. The room was well equipped and clean, but there was a touch of mould in the bathroom. Unfortunately the mansion part of the hotel is somewhat distant as far as regular servicing of public areas is concerned. (We noticed the same complaint from four years ago in a previous review). Dirty crockery and glasses left in public areas for days on end is not a Hilton standard. Our room was ”refreshed” every day at our request, during these Covid times, and was done promptly and nicely. Breakfast was adequate but a touch chaotic. The dinner menu was severely limited but of a good standard. All staff were pleasant and as helpful as possible. The pool area (unused) looked great. A friend used it and was happy. The surroundings were excellent and very convenient if touring the area.
