• Your website states that the property is a 3 star. On arrival, there is a plaque on the door that states your property is a 4 star – which is it? • There is a sign in the parking area that states no food or drinks other than those purchased from Ditholo may be consumed on the property. That makes perfect sense, but the problem is that if you do want a snack, there is no kiosk or vending machine where you can buy a drink or packet of crisps. I understand you can order a meal from the restaurant, but this is not always practical because sometimes you just want a snack. • On the first night, my children wanted milkshakes with dinner – there was no ice cream. • At breakfast on the Sunday, the yoghurt ran out before we were able to serve ourselves and there was no more – how this is possible when management had gone to town the previous morning to replenish stock is beyond me. • On the second night, my children again wanted milkshakes – still no ice cream – again after management had been to town that morning to replenish stock. • On arrival, our room had no toilet paper or towels in it, nor had the tea/coffee station been replenished. From discussion with other guests, their rooms were the same. We had a safe that only opened with a key. Despite asking numerous times, we are still waiting for the key. At that point, we were in two minds about whether we should just pack up and go home, but my family and I had a discussion and agreed that although the property was extremely disappointing and this was not going to be the weekend we expected, we would make the most of it because moving was not an option available to us and facing a 4 hour drive home because of the roadworks was not something we wanted to endure again in one day. • At dinner on the first night, the manger came to us and apologised for our unhappiness. He said that they had a group of 60 that had checked out that morning and because of that, stock had to be replaced and the towels were still in the tumble dryer. He did give us a complimentary bottle of wine which we appreciate but it goes a long way to making up for the weekend we endured to be completely honest. • Friday night’s dinner was another challenge because despite your website saying that you cater for children’s meals, there was nothing at the buffet that my son could/would eat, so his dinner on the first night was 2 slices of white bread with butter. On the Saturday night, the food was delicious and there were more options avai
