Finally found a motel in Thames that is nice. Good location. Great bed and pillows, very clean. Easy parking and only three minutes from town . Across the road from the beach. The only down sides were, the room heater didn’t work and it was very cold night, luckily the motel sitter found a portable heater that solved the problem. There was also an uncomfortable toilet seat that did not fit the toilet in our room. Minor things. We will definitely be back now that we do not have to stay in old , smelly run down accommodation.

It had everything we needed. Separate lounge was a plus. Neat and tidy. Close to the beach and family just up the road. Will come again. Sunset was great wish I'd brought my fishing rod. Gardens are interesting. Don't be put off by the outer appearance.
