Chrissie's Hotel

Chrissie's Hotel is paradise in India: Adel and his staff are beautiful people, generous and very welcoming. The hotel is very clean and warm. The rooms are comfortable in a lush natural environment with magnificent flowers... We feel good there! The kitchen is very good. I highly recommend this place

We had a 3 night stay here. The hosts Adel and Anshad were very friendly and helpful. All of the staff were friendly. Excellent choice of food for breakfast. Room was comfortable and looked out onto trees when we saw monkeys and Malabar giant squirrels.

It's all been said before in these reviews and all I can do is to add to the chorus of praise and thanks to Adil and his wonderful team. Highlights for me were the wildlife all around (get up at sunrise and go to the rooftop area), the delightful rooms with private balconies, the artwork on just about every wall and the wonderful breakfast with home made breads, jams and more. What will be your highlight?

Selecting this hotel to stay in Thekkadi is the best decision we made in our Kerala trip. Undoubtedly this is best property to stay in Thekkadi. Mr. Adil's (owner)warm welcome at the entrance brings the first positive vibe and as we enter it starts Unfolding more surprises... Never expected that the rooms are inside a forest full of birds, butterflies and exotic fruits and flowers. They welcome us with a fresh home made drink. Entire hotel is a masterpiece of art and culture, coexisted in mid of nature. Rooms, stairs, and pathways are beautifully painted by various artists. Breakfast was excellent, with ***y homemade items like Ger*** breads, jam etc. One can relax and rejuvenate just by sitting in the balcony. Moreover, there is a rooftop infinity pool and a very nice open area to lie down and relax. I can keep on writing about this hotel for hours as I'm a superbly thrilled and satisfied customer of Chrissie's hotel. However, Our stay was just for a day and literally had to drag ourselves out for our next destination. Thank you Mr. Adil and team for such a wonderful experience. Shall meet again.

I am in love with this hotel , Not only becoz the room is beautifully decorated, with amazing morning sunrise facing my balcony. Or the tasty breakfast and food there. And there attention to every detail, It is mostly becoz I got thé warmest welcome here. Every one is so friendly and helpful. Beautiful people they are. Thank u Adel, thank u Anshad.. u are with no doubt the best host I ever met with all ur stuff. U made me feel truly home

Had apprehensions when I booked the hotel, however everything was thrown out of the window as soon as we arrived. The amazing Adil and his crew were just incredible. Everything was explained on how things work there, asked us our preferences - and we at home within the next hour. As we explored the place it resonated the love with which it's been set-up and maintained. There is no TV - which is great, as the entertainment is outside and not in the rooms. Rooms are very well maintained and has all the necessary things for a comfortable stay. The breakfast included in the price hits the right spot - our fav was the homemade peanut butter, chocolate spread and the jams. Yum! The team is there to help you through anything that you would want. When we left we made friends for life. Adil and team you guys rock.

We had an amazing experience at Chrissie's! The hotel ***agers were incredibly helpful and organised multiple activities for us while we were in Thekkady. The hotel itself was lovely - the rooms were large & comfortable, with a great balcony overlooking the surrounding nature. The lounging area & pool at the top of the hotel was a great place to hang out.

Chrissie's was one of the best hotels we encountered on our two-month journey. Beyond their beautifully landscaped property and comfortable rooms, what really stood out was the warmness of their staff and commitment to helping their guests. Even before we arrived, they were super responsive by WhatsApp and were able to answer some critical questions we had about our overnight trek in Periyar National Park (which has very limited info online!). They also let us freshen up after the overnight trip which was super helpful before proceeding onwards to our next destination. During our time in Thekkady, we discovered that we had a serious misunderstanding with our driver about payment and billing. Antony at front desk spent an enormous amount of time and effort helping us to navigate the language barrier and conflict between us and the transportation company. We honestly wouldn't have been able to resolve the situation without his help and are so grateful for his support. He even arranged alternative transport to our next city. Thank you Antony and Chrissie's Hotel for a wonderful stay and for going above and beyond for your guests - we so appreciate it!

YOU HAVE TO STAY AT CHRISSIE's!! I cannot recommend this hotel enough. As soon as we arrived we were welcomed with the warmest and hospitable welcome by the owner Adel and instantly felt at home. The hotel itself is beautiful, with balconies that overlook an amazing garden with beautiful trees where you see lots of wildlife like monkeys and birds. The breakfast was delicious, with a great spread of things and the pool is just dreamy. They organised a bamboo rafting trek for us which was great and made things very easy for us. The main highlight for us though was the staff and we will always remember Chrissie's as a very special place because of them! Thank you!!
