Nothing short of excellent. Very convenient with the metro just in front of e hotel, river walk by the back, train station for the train to Beijing just 5mins away by car. Fantastic views of the river from the room. Truly luxurious stay. Lounge was great too! Pic is a view from the room.

The service was perfect! I am very happy with the hotel staff! I had forgotten my glasses in the room and they were mailed to me immediately! Highly recommend! Perfect in every way😃👍

Overall we had a lovely stay here. The location is great, and the rooms and reception area were beautifully decorated. The pool and gym were amazing (best hotel gym I've ever seen!), and never very busy. Staff were friendly and polite. And there was never a queue for the lifts. There were a few niggles which I'll list below for other people who appreciate these types of details, but they were by no means deal breakers. Niggles included: - we always had a long wait at reception to be served - the deposit is large (almost the price of the stay again) - no plugs on one side of the bed so you can't charge your phone next to you - the minibar wasn't very cold - no takeout delivery to rooms (usually this is done by robot) - beds are very soft which might give some people backache - our toilet cistern kept running (we fixed it ourselves every time) - the shower leaked - the blinds over the windows are all or nothing, there are no curtains that you can just pull over part of the window - the swimming pool is very shallow at just 1.2 metres with no deep end - this made swimming difficult for both of us as we're on the taller side - you must sign a declaration before every swim/workout (I think once per customer would be enough!) and wear a swimming cap in the pool (the hotel sells them).

I had a wonderful stay - this was made so by the attentiveness and cheeriness of the staff. In particular, Ruby did a fantastic job at checkin and Maggie and her colleagues at Horizon Club were so welcoming. Definitely returning!

This hotel is good location and rooom is clean. Staff service is also perfect. If I travel to Tianjin again, I want to stay again.

The Shangri-La, Tianjin, is, and has always been our favorite Hotel to visit. This week was a special celebration for us, as we celebrated our 15th Wedding anniversary, as well as our 4th consecutive year in China. We relocated to another City / Province, about two years ago, and was unable to visit and enjoy our special Shangri-La. Prior to us moving from Tianjin, we used to celebrate all our special occasions and milestones, at this branch of Shangri-La. We would always spend our Christmas, New Years, and Chinese New Year's at Shangri-La. Now that we have returned to Heibei, we look forward to continuing this tradition. Things change over time, some familiar faces are no longer working there. However, the new team made us feel right at home again, and went out of their way to make our stay most memorable and special. As I mentioned to one of the team members, it's not the spectacular Lobby Lounge, nor the beautifully decorated features, that make the establishment, but rather the people. Without quality staff and superior service, no establishment can ever rely on reoccurring business. For as long as these values are in place, this Shangri-La can be certain of our patronage. All team members provided excellent service, from the bellhop, to the waitresses, from the front of house to the housekeeping and of course the management team. Special thanks to "Francis", the new General Manager, "Danny", the Food and Beverage Director, as well as "Billy", the "Food and Beverage" Manager. This trio of Management, ensured that we received the best service possible. Lastly, we would like to thank "Roger" whom assisted us with a Driver / Transportation, upon our early departure. No visit to Tianjin, would ever truly be complete, with visiting The Shangri-La. See you soon.

Luxurious hotel situated close to the river. Rooms are relatively small however the views are great. Room service food was delicious and the breakfast spread was lovely

I talked to shangri-La hotel stuff Mr.Omi about my desire to celebrate my wife's birthday in Shangri-La, and that guy was the best, he definitely was the right guy to talk to, he is a good listener and very assistive. My wife and I were amazed by what shangri-La hotel offered us and prepared for her birthday, I just can't thank the Shangri-La hotel staff and especially Mr.Omi enough for the amazing weekend we spent at Shangri-La, Tianjin.

Beautiful hotel and rooms. The view from my window was breathtaking . Breakfast service was amazing.
