Hampton by Hilton Tianjin Five Great Avenues

I had a mixed experience during my stay. The staff was wonderful and the breakfast was truly excellent, which really added value to the stay. The room itself was clean and met all my expectations for hygiene. There were just two things that made the stay a little less than perfect: • Unusual Heat: It has been unexpectedly hot in Tianjin this April, which is quite uncommon. Because the hotel doesn't have AC or fans available in the rooms, it got a bit uncomfortable and stuffy at night. • Odor: There was a bit of a smoke smell in the room and hall way. I realize people often ignore the "No Smoking" signs despite the hotel's policies, but it was still a bit of a nuisance.

This hotel is in a great location, comfortable rooms, and a solid included breakfast. Unfortunately, the lack of AC made our April stay very uncomfortable. It was far too hot to sleep well, and the ice packs provided by the staff weren't a sufficient solution. Great place if the weather is cool, but be cautious during warmer months.
