GreenTree Inn (Tianjin Nankai District Tianjin West Railway Station Tianjin Eye Smart Select Hotel)

The smart toilet was a nice touch, and the hotel environment was great, very clean and hygienic. We had a pleasant stay. I brought my family to Tianjin, and I'm so glad we picked the right hotel. All the ladies at the front desk were very nice.

Great location, convenient for getting around. There's a market nearby so it's easy to grab breakfast. Service was good too.

Service: I didn't realize I booked a windowless room. The front desk mentioned it was windowless but didn't offer an upgrade. So, I paid the difference on Ctrip to switch to a room with a window, but they gave me a room at the corridor corner instead. Amenities: Very old and the soundproofing is terrible. I could clearly hear guests walking and talking loudly when they returned to their rooms. I could even hear the light switch being flipped in the adjacent room at night. Early in the morning on the second day, there were vendors shouting in the neighborhood outside my window, and their voices came through loud and clear. Cleanliness: As shown in the pictures, I won't say much more. The bath towels weren't even hung up; they were placed directly under the sink. The top towel was dirty, and the one underneath was damp... Environment: I wouldn't even pay 200 yuan for this room during the off-season. I understand holiday surcharges, but the room quality and price are completely mismatched. Overall: Out of all the hotels I've booked on Ctrip, this was by far the worst experience! Everyone, avoid this place.

Traveling to Tianjin with my child, we decided to stay near Xibeijiao. The hotel is about a 10-minute taxi ride from Xibeijiao, which gets very crowded during holidays. It's a budget chain hotel, and the hygiene is decent. Overall, the value for money is pretty good.

The room was very spacious, facing the sunny side, and I loved the layout. During my stay, there was a lot of noise from the room upstairs. I contacted the front desk immediately, and the staff responded very quickly. They patiently communicated and coordinated, helping to resolve the noise issue right away. They were incredibly responsible. The overall stay was great, with thoughtful and attentive service. It's definitely worth recommending, and I'll choose this place again for my next stay.

I was here for an exam and they allowed me a late check-out, which was a lifesaver. The environment is lovely, and the facilities are top-notch. But the absolute best part was the receptionists; their service was fantastic! Oh, and the bed was super comfy!
