"We actually liked the hotel very much. However, we rate the cleanliness as poor given that there was urine spot on the toilet seat with strong urine smell. Yet, my friend's room was spotless. Other things in the room were very fine. So, it might be just unusual mistake but this is important. The best we love was the food at the hotel's dinning restaurant which was tasty, fresh seafood, nice presentation and very good price compared to the quality."

"I took a self-driving tour on a niche route in Shaanxi, Gansu and Ningxia. I came to Tianshui to see the Maijishan Grottoes, and also enjoyed the popularity of Tianshui Mala Tang. Indeed, there are so many tourists checking in here that it is difficult to book a hotel. You need to go a few days in advance, otherwise you will not be able to book a suitable one. This hotel is rated 4 diamonds on Ctrip, but it is actually impossible to get there. The hotel's breakfast is really unsatisfactory, the bathroom is very small, and the wet and dry parts are not separated."

"I've stayed in two different rooms here: a viewing room and a king room. The viewing room was quite spacious, but the bathroom design felt a bit odd. The king room also had a large bathroom, but it was separated from the bedroom by a wall, which made the overall space feel smaller. Some of the cleaning staff were very nice, but the front desk clerks generally weren't very professional; there wasn't much in the way of service. When checking out, the clerk just said to hand over the key card, with no polite goodbyes or welcomes."

"The room was clean and hygienic, and the location was excellent, within walking distance of the ancient city's Fuxi Temple, Yuquan Temple, and Yusheng Alley. There are two elevators upstairs in the hotel. I went downstairs in the wrong elevator and ended up in the hospital lobby, where I returned my room card and lost it. I had to pay 50 yuan in compensation. Be sure not to take the wrong elevator. Even though it's a beauty clinic, it's still quite scary to find yourself in a hospital lobby at night."

"This is a REALLY nice hotel. Unfortunately, although it is practically right next to one of the city's two train stations, the location is far from ideal. Yes, there are many restaurants close by. But Tianshui is an oddly laid out city. Look on a map and you will see two distinct parts to the city. This hotel, along with the two train stations and the airport are in the eastern city. But all the most interesting city attractions are within the west part. And the two parts are very far from each other. Again, this is a nice, quiet, comfortable hotel. And I often try to stay at hotels near transportation centers such as train stations. The view from my room was fabulous- mountains and a train station. But for anyone visiting Tianshui, I'd suggest you look closely at a map and take a close look at the sites within the city you are likely to visit! (To add to within-town transportation challenges, not even a single time was I able to get a ride using the normally useful "Didi" application. This meant that it was a constant "old school" process of trying to flag down available taxis. Anyway, again I will emphasize, the hotel is great. It is the layout of the city itself that presents challenges that make this location difficult."

"This was my first time visiting Tianshui, and I wanted a hotel conveniently located near the attractions. After comparing a few options, I chose this one. The back parking lot leads directly to the entrance of the ancient city, and it's only a few minutes' walk to the Fuxi Temple. The ancient city's night view is beautiful and historic; I even got to visit a courtyard house. The room was clean and bright with lovely decor. The green theme felt fresh and eco-friendly. The TV screen was quite large, making for comfortable viewing. The toilet came with a seat cover, which was a thoughtful touch, and the facilities were excellent. Parking was convenient, easy to get in and out of, and there were plenty of spaces, saving me parking fees. My trip was a bit rushed, but I would definitely choose to stay here again next time."

"I only speak English and the family were so patient in using translation apps. They were very kind in picking me up from the bus station (arranged by previous hotel) , had a fabulous hot shower and got a delicious dinner. Up early and with a lift to the caves had a lovely quiet visit. So kind, very much appreciated. Only slight difficulty for me was the firm bed, but I was able to make it work using a spare quilt as padding. Would stay again."
