Tiantai Hot Spring Resort

Tiantai Hot Spring Villa's location is a huge plus – it's really close to Guoqing Temple, so you can easily grab a taxi there in the morning, explore, and then enjoy a leisurely walk back by lunchtime. The rooms are spacious and clean, making for a comfortable stay. I specifically avoided the May Day rush, so the hot spring wasn't crowded in the evening, the pools were peaceful, and the service was warm and attentive. The breakfast spread was extensive, and you even get to try some local Tiantai specialties. If you're looking for a quiet spot to combine spiritual reflection with hot springs, this place is perfect.

The room was very spacious, clean, and tidy. When I booked, it said the twin beds were 1.2 meters, but they were actually at least 1.35 meters, which was perfect for a family of three. The hotel's location is excellent, making it easy to get around, and it's very convenient for visiting Guoqing Temple.

Coming to this hot spring hotel in winter was truly wonderful. It's right next to Guoqing Temple. The hotel itself is built like a palace, with the owner's collection of calligraphy and paintings adorning the walls. I particularly loved the four red horse paintings by Giuseppe Castiglione in the lobby. There are also three huge golden nanmu pillars in the lobby.

This is my second stay here. It's really close to the scenic area, and some of the local buses are free, plus you can get directly there from the high-speed rail station. The hot springs weren't crowded at all, which was fantastic!

Facilities: It's an older hotel, but the facilities are well-maintained. Cleanliness: Pretty clean. Environment: It's a hot spring hotel in the Guoqing Scenic Area, with great air quality and beautiful views. Service: The staff were very good, explaining the hotel's amenities, and even escorted us to our room on the first day.

Both bathrobes hadn't been changed; they had specks of dirt and twigs inside, clearly used by previous guests for outdoor hot spring bathing. The open-air hot spring area was surrounded by plants and mud. I called for clean ones, and after twenty minutes, nothing happened. I tried calling again, but the line was constantly busy. Do they also have a feature to block guest calls? Finally, two bathrobes that weren't even folded were delivered, along with a remark, 'This isn't our responsibility.' Are they implying I intentionally soiled the bathrobes? Seriously, what a joke. When I left, none of the service staff greeted me proactively. I asked if returning the card was enough, and the female staff member looked elsewhere, completely ignoring me and not saying a word. Is it really appropriate for the hotel to save costs by putting cross-eyed and deaf-mute people at the front desk?

The location is superb, with a large parking lot right next to Guoqing Temple, perfect for a relaxed visit during the May Day holiday. The hotel itself is quite spacious, and while the facilities are a bit dated, everything is clean and tidy. The service is excellent; there was even someone guiding guests at the elevator entrance. The hotel's hot spring is also very good, with plenty of pools and a full spread of fruits and tea available.

This hotel is incredibly clean, one of the cleanest I've ever seen. I was pleasantly surprised from the moment I walked in. My room had a balcony, and even the corners of the balcony were spotless. The service was excellent too; the staff were very well-trained. We only needed our towels changed and trash bins emptied daily, and housekeeping accurately relayed this information to the staff. At breakfast, the staff proactively helped elderly guests with hot soy milk. It's truly a delightful surprise to find a hotel with such outstanding service and facilities at the foot of Mount Tiantai. I would definitely recommend it to my friends.

The hotel is about a 5-10 minute walk from the scenic area. The walk isn't boring, you can enjoy the scenery. The place is spacious, and it even has a 110V charging adapter, which would be very convenient for Japan, I guess. The ceiling height is good, and it's clean. However, the toilet isn't smart at all. The water pressure is good. The hot spring was a bit disappointing, just average.
