Where do I begin to do justice to this extraordinary hotel? My wife and I have had a challenging year and wanted a place to disappear, relax and reboot. The Cesar Lanzarote was the perfect retreat. From the moment we arrived and greeted warmly by Debbie, the hotel took over and we didn't leave the exquisite surroundings for 6 days. The location - while not for everyone (it may seem secluded) was ideal for us - literally far from the madding crowd! The food, the staff, the sunsets and martinis (created by both Gabriel and Isaac) were spectacular. The room was beautifully designed and were blissfully quiet. Every day (we lost track of time) was a joy! And after our trip was over, we reluctantly left the hotel ready to rejoin the real world but it was a truly beautiful and memorable escape.

This is a spectacularly beautiful well designed/decorated small intimate hotel that was a real treat. The staff was very engaging, friendly, and helpful. We were greeted by Debbie who was warm, effusive, and happy to share suggestions and recommendations of activities to see/do, restaurants for lunch and dinner. Every place we went recommended by her was special. Highly recommend this hotel and unique venue.

This is a very special hotel as well as an architectural high point of Lanzarotte as one of Cesar Manrique's creations. The pool is a work of art, the food exceptional for the island and the service exemplary and staff delightful. They go the extra mile to make your stay a pleasure. Only drawback is that cool Lanzarote breeze.

We were originally supposed to stay at Hotel Cesar for 6 nights, but we extended to 11, and honestly, we still didn’t want to leave. Everything about our stay was just incredible. The staff are amazing — truly. They have a real can-do mentality and were always there for anything we needed. They helped organize bikes, booked great restaurants for us, and were super responsive to any thoughts, wishes, or concerns we had throughout the stay. The food was absolutely fantastic — fresh, flavorful, and something we looked forward to every day. And the service across the board — from reception to the waiters and everyone else — had such a warm, human touch. We’re not naming anyone personally, but you all know who you are. Thank you. We had such a special time here. Thank you so much for everything — we’ll definitely be back.

We stayed for a fantastic and unbelievable week. What a wonderful place to stay. The food was superb (the cheesecake was just one highlight! Oh, and the sirloin. And the lamb. And the Caesar Salad. Got the idea?), and we loved looking out over the sea and across the volcanic landscape. But the best bit? The Hotel team. All of them. No exceptions. A most wonderful set of hosts to make our time magical. The muzak played is a bit intrusive - a better vibe would be soft jazz, or classical music. But it’s only a minor point easily sorted! Thank you César Lanzarote. We will be back.
