"I was expecting a nice one night stay as part of my vacation. I was surprised to find the room to be disgusting. The door was open when i got there. The room smelled like bug spray, the floor was sticky, the glasses were filthy, there was hair on the floor in the bathroom and in the bedsheets. I actually was thinking of sleeping in my car. Also, the carpets in the hallway are dirty. I do not recommend this place."

The grounds are absolutely beautiful, with so many lovely seating areas offering a gorgeous view of the Kinneret. The hotel is beautifully renovated, clean, and incredibly relaxing. The view is unbeatable—the closest you can get to the lake. The staff goes above and beyond to ensure the best experience for their guests, and it’s clear they are dedicated to providing excellent service. The breakfast options are delicious, with a wide variety, and the waitstaff is always attentive and helpful. We also received a lovely fruit platter delivered to our room, which was such a thoughtful gesture. The location is perfect, and we are always so happy with our decision to stay at Galei Kinneret. We will definitely be back!"

The hotel's location was perfect, within walking distance of all the main attractions and conveniences. The service was incredibly friendly and attentive; the staff went above and beyond to ensure our stay was enjoyable. We felt truly pampered, and every little detail was taken care of to perfection. We couldn’t have asked for a better place to stay. Highly recommended!"

"Horrible hotel!! Dirty, old , badly maintained. Don't go there!!! I booked and tried to cancel upon arrival and they refused to to refund me not even half. Zero! I had to pay full amount without staying there!! They even made me call the reservation office while my daughter was crying begging to leave the hotel, which made me book a hotel in front for almost 3000 NIS!! Hotel reception manager even called me to complain about my review and argued with me, can you imagine??"

"This was a fantastic place for years to sit and have an early breakfast right by the Sea. The place has obviously switched ownership because hospitality is last on the list. They seemed to cage in the patio with plastic for reasons most tourists would not understand; to much heat too much rain to much wind. All the reasons patio cafe's have indoor seating if the elements are too bad. Coupled with workers and servers that ignore you, I don't know how this place stays open. So sad it was such a quaint place to go."

Leonardo Club Tiberias - All Inclusive
"I went with my family during the Passover period from April 14 to 17, 2025 Overall the hotel is okay with some obvious things missing. From our arrival, the first surprise was that there was no trolley in the entire hotel to put the luggage on and take it to our room even though it is a family hotel! I don't understand why the hotel managers don't think of providing one to hotel guests, it would just be obvious! A person at the reception kindly offered to help us get them out of the car to the reception. We got our room earlier than expected, which was very appreciated. We had two identical adjoining rooms of a decent standard because it seemed to have been renovated. Nothing to say about that. But one thing is really missing: The sockets for charging phones and other things. There were exactly two visible (see photos). One next to the bed (and not on the other side of the bed unfortunately). And a second one, so I'll have to be told what the point is, at the top of a door that communicates with a neighboring room. Really, the person who is going to read my comment, just please explain to me what the point is of putting a socket so high up that is absolutely useless!!! Please explain to me why put it at this level when we see that there are no other sockets available in the entire room!!!! (see photos) Concerning the swimming pool there were some good things and others less good. Something not good but it's not really their fault let's say, we came at a time that is not summer so they left the big protective tarpaulin that covered the whole swimming pool and a manager told me that he planned to remove it next week for the nice weather. So when you arrive at the swimming pool you have this feeling of suffocation when you are on the deckchairs because some are outside the tarpaulin and others inside and suddenly you quickly feel stuck to each other especially when there are a lot of people (see photos) In addition you have a resonance when you are in the water because of the tarpaulin, which means that with the noise of all the people swimming and shouting mixed with the whistle of the lifeguard it is really unpleasant! Note that they added wooden planks to the existing floor with screws, the heads of the screws are rusty! Not really great and reassuring if a child scratches their foot with that (see photo) The positive point of the pool and not the least is that it is heated so no apprehension about going in! You also have 3 slides attached to the pool for the children which are very nice Regarding the entertainment during the day because of the tarpaulin it was almost impossible for the entertainers to do anything around the pool There was just a DJ who put on music which made the noise even more deafening than anything else L"

"We stayed here for 3 days on a half board basis. The check in process was seamless. Our room was quite spacious but cleanliness was not up to the mark. I found floss, and a couple small items under the sink. Our used coffee cups were not rinsed and used glasses were not taken away. We had to place these outside the room after which they were cleared. Breakfast buffet had plenty of selections and variety. Dinner offering was limited on couple days due to Passover. Property has adult pool and kiddie pools with great views of the Sea of Galilee. Roof top bar offers great views of the city."

"We just stayed there and had an excellent experience. Hotel is newly renovated and clean. The lobby had an incredible view of the Kinneret . The hotel has the perfect amenities a private pool and spa that was remarkably relaxing and not crowded considering we were in peak time in August . In addition the water park slides were great for the kids and you have the Kinneret beach access as well. All this is literally a minute walk from the lobby. Good plentiful food - one night there was a bbq by pool which was fabulous! It’s also very close to downtown tiberias although we didn’t go. We loved our stay super fun and relaxing I highly recommend!!! We want more and can’t wait to return!!"

"This is not really an hotel as such. There is no reception but as long as they know when you are arriving, someone will be available to let you in and show you the ropes. My room was en-suite with a reasonably comfortable bed. Although clean, some rather suspicious looking stains hadn't quite washed out of the sheets and the towels and curtains were a bit threadbare. The floor is advertised on the hotel site as "parquet" but is actually lino with a sort of wood pattern printed on it. Probably easier to keep clean than carpet but not wood, nevertheless. Once you are there, you will find them very friendly a helpful. Even for the one night that I stayed there, there was a bottle of wine, a fruit basket and a couple of large mineral water bottles in the small fridge. There is also a kettle and stuff for making tea and coffee. Breakfast is served at another hotel, about 10 minutes walk away, near the lake (Kineret). I can't comment on the breakfast as I had to leave early so didn't try it. Good fast free wi-fi. Rooms have a/c and satellite TV."

"hi i stayed at your hotel this past Shabbos and had the worst experience i ever had in a hotel.please understand that for anyone living in a decent normal apartment staying in you hotel is a downgrade in every way imaginable the rooms are small stuffy and uglythe beds are the source of an instant backache the pillows or marshmallows are a source of a 3 day migraine headachehow could anyone call this a vacationthe hospital in which my wife gave birth in had very similar accommodations"
