Hotel Astor Tijuana

I arrived at the hotel quite late, so I didn't have time to explore the surrounding area. I'll just comment on the hotel facilities and environment. First, the hotel lobby isn't very large, a bit like a small hotel. There's no elevator, so you have to use the stairs. The hotel room didn't provide toiletries, slippers, or a razor; you need to bring your own. The bathroom facilities were old. I even found a small cockroach in the bathroom. My room was right next to the road, so cars honked frequently at night, making it difficult to sleep well. The hotel breakfast was a standard American breakfast—very limited: coffee, bread, and a small amount of hot food. Overall, at 500 yuan, it's worse than a chain hotel in China costing around 200-300 yuan. It's only good for a short rest because it's close to the airport.

The roadside is too noisy, the traffic is too congested and inconvenient, the room is too dark, and the lights are dim.

I only stayed one night, due to a long layover. It served its purpose.
