My stay at Swing and Pillows Beach Street was disappointing.
I was shocked by the non-existing bathroom hygiene.
Black mold (SEE PHOTOS!) all over the sink, spider webs. It was a serious health risk to take a shower.
I WhatsApp'd the manager, asked him to send housekeeping to clean immediately (including photos). He replied in one hour, saying he would send housekeeping the next day. It was urgent, so dirty, but he didn't want to send anybody straight away.
Bad management.
The next day at noon no one had cleaned yet. Unbelievable!
A few hours later I came back, they only removed the spider webs, but the mold was still as it was before.
Can you imagine what kind of dirty people that manager and staff are if they don't notice the black mold? Eyes should monitor that obvious dirt, right? Especially if you work in a hotel/run a hotel.
This was the second (and last) time I stayed at a Swings & Pillows hotel. The rooms don't have real walls (it seems to be the same concept in most Swing and Pillow hotels!). They only use thin plyboard between the rooms, meaning you can hear anything from the next room or hallway.
At the lobby, there is a filtered drinking water dispenser. It was on, but broken: no chilled water, the 'cold' water was warm!
Only good thing was the bed and AC.
Won't come back here. I don't recommend anyone.
