Holiday Inn Express & Suites DAYTON NORTH - TIPP CITY by IHG

Horrible experience! We arrived at the hotel around 11 pm with our kids, after a long drive to find out that they overbooked the double rooms and they don't have one for us after our booking was confirmed. They offered a king bed with a pull out couch. Not what we paid for. There was a group of 10 people arriving moments before us, and it looks like they went with a better deal for the hotel - 5 rooms vs one. Very unethical behavior on behalf of the hotel. Every experience we have had at Holiday Inn has been a bad one, will not be staying in these hotels anymore.

Clean room, friendly staff, decent breakfast. 17 min to action sports center. Pretty good.

Evening staff during shift changeover went above and beyond to help us unload our kids and so much luggage directly into our room on the 2nd floor.

Hotel is been I g renovated and needs some work. Breakfast was good.

Staff was great! Unfortunately, the pool was not usable, which was a big reason we opted for this location and the rooms didn’t get cleaned completely.

Customer service is excellent. The hotel is quiet, safe, and well taken care of.

Our room was clean, bed comfortable. But there was renovation going on, the elevator was not clean. Breakfast was Meh

I was very impressed with the efficient check-in and check-out and the courteous staff. I had a large room and it met my needs, with a microwave oven and a refrigerator, which I did not use. The breakfast area was clean and food items were replenished quickly by an efficient staff. I stayed in a Cleveland area hotel in August which was dirty, well used, no breakfast and cost 3 times more for one night. So this location, close to I-75 ( but no road noise) and many restaurants and amenities, was a real bargain. Already looking forward to my next business trip to Troy!
