Hotel surroundings are beautiful, accommodation is good for the price, restaurant wants to be top-notch but absolutely is not. Breakfast was good.

Good hiking location near Tisa and the Tisa sandstone hike. Old hotel with spacious rooms and no hot water. No one at reception. Heavily chlorinated heated swimming pool and hot tub all under roof with nice view.

The room was not clean,there were cigarette buds on the balcony and items in the rooms from previous visitors. The heater in the room was broken. There were no extra blankets. The bathrobes were very old even broken. The food in the restaurant ok-ish. I must say the stuff in the restaurant were doing their best,this is probably the only plus for this hotel.

-attentiveness and communication from staff (in English) was... "spotty" -food in restaurant was forgettable (you "need" to eat here; property is hidden away) -phone in room did not work; and there is no cellular reception in this area -style/decor/amenities all substandard (e.g. single refillable soap bottle for bathroom) -electric car charger was not functional -tv has almost no programming on it etc etc. nothing about the experience was pleasant.

We came because of the SPA but no Spa just at afternoon! So disappointed The location of the hotel is excellent… but please note; The water in the showers is cold! The heating in the rooms is covered at night or lowered to you as they wish! The rooms are at the hostel level .. Not really a four star hotel! And the book? That should be a good thing but no! In the morning we woke up to a big disappointment only the hot tub works and so people who came to stay waited in line for the hot tub… we could forgive that the room was not heated that there is no hot water in the shower but not for that! Disappointment, disappointment and really no value for money

Pool Bereich war super, aber rest... Zimmer: Wände sind aus Pappe. Man hört einfach alles und ist auch schwer zu schlafen dadurch. Die Wanne hatte kein Vorhang. Also duschen war anstrengend, weil das Wasser ständig auf den Boden war, oder man musste sich im sitzen duschen was auch manchmal anstrengend war. Dachte erstmal, dass einfach vergessen wurden, aber nein. Die hängen mit Absicht kein Duschvorhang. Essen ist Katastrophe. Frühstück kostete 8 euro p.P. täglich, aber war fast nichts da. Also kaum Auswahl und nichts schmeckte. Restaurant war generell Katastrophe. Das essen wurde nicht gemacht, sonder einfach in der Mikrowelle warm gemacht. Zumindest hatte man immer dieses Gefühl. Es schmeckte einfach nichts da. Es war auch extrem langweilig dort. Also für diesen Preis die Qualität ist einfach schlecht.
