Best Hotels with Gym in Toba

This hotel is one of the most famous in Toba…and probably was a real gem 40/50 years ago when the Japanese Emperor and even Queen Elizabeth II stayed here…but like Toba itself is probably not what it once was! The hotel is in 2 wings (the Ocean wing and the Harbor wing) At first we booked a Harbor wing room. The room,while offering a view of the water,looks out onto the back of the ferry terminal in the distance.Also it seems that the sightseeing boats sometimes come into this area to turn or park up.From about 7 am you will hear boarding sounds to announce the different ferries leaving….which certainly makes it a more lively experience. We were offered an upgrade (unfortunately not free) to an Ocean View suite for ¥2500 per person…and after seeing the room we jumped at the chance. A huge room (two big beds) with uninterrupted views out to sea.Probably refurbished about 4 or 5 years ago…the bedroom and sitting area were very nice with a telescope for birdwatching if you are interested.Also a Nespresso coffee machine and free water. The bathroom and toilet seemed older and while it was lovely to have a bath in the morning with the sun streaming in and the wind blowing,these rooms could probably do with an upgrade to put them in line with the bedroom/sitting area (don’t look too carefully at the floors…carpets…tatami flooring or the big green bathtub) Package included breakfast. There was good English signage on the different foodstuffs on offer. The Japanese food selection seemed good/the western options a little disappointing (omelettes…cooked to order if you ask/fish and chips/pizza/sausage and grilled bacon) There is no hot spring in this hotel itself.The sister hotel - Shiojitei - a beautiful looking Japanese style ryokan hotel houses the baths.Guests can use the pearl baths by either walking easily from the Harbor view rooms (about 2-3 minutes) or take a shuttle bus from the reception area. The baths were very nice…but if they are the purpose of your stay then stay at Shiojitei as you can wear your yukata and just pop up/down from your room.You have to dress/undress appropriately if you stay in the International and this might be a little too much trouble to go to the baths a number of times! The staff are excellent.Very friendly and welcoming(a few spoke English)Their shuttle services to/from the train station are frequent and they will even do outside of the schedule if you are lucky! Also they take guests to/from Shiojitei at the drop of a hat. All in all.Beautiful views from the Ocean wing suites.If that s what you re looking for worth the upgrade from the Harbor wing rooms. The ocean views are better from the International…whereas for a Japanese feeling hotel with the main focus on the hot-spring baths I would stay at Shiojitei.

Just before GW, I stayed as a refreshment when I visited Ise Jingu shrine. I had ISE tea and cheese cake hospitality after checking in at the front desk, but this cheese cake was very delicious. The room is modern Japanese. The view is outstanding with the sea from the window. It was a nice room. Dinner was a Japanese course (with spiny lobster and abalone) in a private room of a restaurant called Shiraishi, but the volume was just right and everything was delicious. Also, the male staff who were in charge at this dinner was very friendly and I was able to spend a satisfying time. Breakfast is also Japanese, but it was very delicious and I was able to relax. The hot spring bath was also beautiful and good. I think the customer service of the hotel staff 々 (both male staff and female staff 々) is outstanding. Also, I would like to stay when visiting Ise Jingu shrine.

Last time I used it with my wife, I was really interested, so this year I used it for consecutive nights. Among the things I was interested in, I especially liked this SPA and made a reservation this time, so I headed to Onjuku in time🚙 Arrived at just the right time, welcome sparkling while checking in🥂. . . On this day, we stayed in the same room as last time, the Premium Suite with Dining, Room 209, ”Sankai”. The person who came and the other woman greeted me, explained the menu and consulted about the contents, and decided to have a 100-minute full body and head SPA. . . No, I was feeling really good, and then I was really hungry. I felt a sense of emotion 🙌 Today is the 22nd 😲 After the 100-minute SPA refreshed my body and stomach (laughs), I had dinner in the dining room in the room I had been waiting for. . . I was wondering if I could eat in the car on my way, but now I'm so hungry that I can't stand it. 🍻 Start with appetizers: conger eel skin cucumber ginger, eel Hachiman rolls, horse mackerel sushi, salmon lotus root rolls, Torimatsu style, conger roe, Maruju lemon simmered, ginkgo pine needles. Koyose and horse mackerel sushi are the best! Beer goes well. Next is sashimi, so I ordered cold sake. For the sashimi, sweet shrimp, turban shell, amberjack, and grunt were beautifully arranged in a bowl lined with ice 🐟🦐 This goes well with cold sake ❣ Next, soup made with clear soup, beaten shrimp, edamame tofu, grilled wheat gluten, Lotus yam, Matsuba yuzu, a gentle dashi soup that will make your heart and stomach happy 🎵 Strong dish: butter-grilled black abalone from Ise-Shima, asparagus, tomato, king oyster mushroom, and liver sauce Surprisingly good for two people who love abalone. I want to lick this liver sauce with the plate (laughs). Especially the black abalone. . . It seems that the abalone that eats wakame is decreasing because wakame is decreasing. I wonder if the sea water temperature is rising. I like it(・∀・)!! The delicious Japanese-style sauce is good❣ Even I, who doesn't like beef, was able to eat it all at once. The rice to finish off was small fish rice, and while I was eating it, the rice cooker was making the sound of being finished, which made me laugh (laughs). Ta 💦 This fruit dessert made my stomach burst. I didn't have an appetite until I came here, but I can't believe I could eat so much 😲 After dinner, I relaxed in the open-air bath attached to the room and went to dark on the first day. . . Breakfast is Japanese food at the dining room ”Arashi”. There are plenty of grilled fish, dashi rolls*, sashimi, salad, etc. 🍚 Check out once and visit Ise (Naiku). *We will upload it separately. On the day I came back to Onjuku, there was a maisonette suite called ”Senpa” in room 112 of the Ushio Building. (^ ^; I searched the room and the open-air bath with the room is small, and it's probably a separate building from the room I stayed in the previous day, but the room is old and messy, so I was excited. So, the two of us, sweating from visiting Ise, went to the public bath for the first time. (Laughs) Well, let's enjoy dinner 🙌 There is no restaurant in the room tonight, so we ate it in a private room in the dining room ”Arashi” 🍚 First we had beer 🍻, followed by cold sake. I love chawanmushi, so I'm excited again (laugh). I forgot something, but it was a combination of fish, small yam, carrots, peas, etc. Grilled appetizers: Large prawns and black abalone grilled in a bowl of abalone shells. A happy plate full of black abalone. The beef stew is so yummy that it changes the concept of beef stew you've ever eaten, and it's made by the head chef who loves meat. I'm not perfect, so I still can't seem to eat fried food, so I'm sorry for the smell of fried food... To finish off, we had sushi rolls with lots of ingredients, such as * and tuna. Yogurt and fruit blueberry sauce No, my stomach bursts (laughs) After eating, I took a leisurely soak in the hot spring in my room to relieve the fatigue of the day ♨ Good morning! Miso soup, simmered taro, steamed egg custard, sweet shrimp sashimi, dashi rolls, salad, and more! I feel nauseous. After this, my appetite returned and it was really good ❣ It may be because of the SPA, but I think it's because of the beautiful appearance of the chef Yamakawa and the many delicious dishes. Especially black abalone and beef stew are the best❣ I will come back again. It's the most joyful family in Japan when I come back! Although a bit old, hygiene is absolutely fine. There is a shuttle service to jr toba, about 5 minutes by car. The hotel has Chinese staff. Ctrip is not very honest. The so-called sea view room is just a sea view at the end of the view. The open-air experience is very good! Breakfast is mainly Japanese, with many varieties, personally prefer. Check out at 10 o'clock, unfortunately I did n’t enjoy it. If possible, I will go to Toba again.

This hotel is the biggest surprise of our trip to Sane County, no one! The whole hotel is surrounded by mountains and sea, the building is an Italian-style castle, the interior is retro but very bright! The room is with a balcony, facing the sea and trees, to be cured! I booked a package that included two meals and one berth and stayed for two nights. It turned out that the first day dinner was French and six-course, and the next day dinner was kaiseki; we chose Japanese for both breakfasts, because it was too luxurious and they were as rich as dinner. In the evening, I also soaked in hot springs with my daughter ♨️; The hotel's service is very abundant, really wholeheartedly recommended!

I booked an old-fashioned inn because the regulation of corona pass was relaxed. On an unusual hot day, I gave up outdoor sightseeing (such as a pleasure boat) and arrived early. I left the car and went out to buy souvenirs nearby. If it was not hot, I wanted to walk in the garden from the room. The view of the room on the sea side was great. The meal was a Viking for two meals, but it was devised, not a thing, and it was very delicious and satisfying. The dessert was delicious and small, so I was able to eat a lot of variety. There was a free rental bath other than that and I enjoyed it. The rooms are Japanese rooms, and the oldness is undeniable, but the cleaning was neat and I was able to spend it comfortably. Although it was a long established inn, there was hospitality, and there was hospitality facing the present, and it felt fresh. It was impressive that the staff 々 was very polite.

The location is close considering the distance from the station, but I think it's okay for a moment because there is no sidewalk on the way. But I arrived unexpectedly soon when I walked along the track. The children were very happy with the wifi. It was good because there was no connection in the hotel or the speed was very slow even if it was connected. I stayed at a night stay without meals, but the nearby shops were delicious and the price was reasonable and the answer was great. The hot spring of the hotel is pleasant, it seems to be a hot spring, or it is a skin touch that I think is different at the moment I entered, and I stayed here for a night and relaxed in the hot spring It was Taisho that the meal was served in a local delicious shop It was a solution.

Overall okay, Let me talk about the shortcomings. 1. Drive for 4 minutes from Kintetsu Toba Station and call the hotel to pick it up. There are no convenience stores nearby, the nearest one is in Toba Station. 2. The arrangement of serving dinner is not reasonable. It's almost finished, and the rice won't move. 3. There is only one open-air wind, which is rotated every day. This open-air one can see the sea view. 4. Too expensive, the overall cost is not high. advantage, 1. The room has a sea view. Although it is not as good as the sea view of Shimoda, it is OK. 2. The room is quite large and spacious. 3. The hot spring facilities are relatively complete, including towels, face toners and lotions. 4. They have mountain village milk. You must buy this and drink it at any time. On the next itinerary, we only saw three bottles in the convenience store of Xiandao Station. The fruity flavor is particularly delicious.

Still great! Stayed at this hotel 2 years ago before the world changed due to the pandemic and was lucky enough to stay in a Sakura room on the 8th floor at that time…so was hoping to stay there again! Unfortunately no such luck as the hotel was completely full (it seemed) with a lot of families and a coach party (not the best feeling as we move out of the pandemic!) The pluses: Free shuttle from the train station Welcome drinks in the lobby (1 alcoholic drink per person) Shampoo and body soap bar…if interested Fantastic selection and quality of the dinner and breakfast buffets Large baths which allow you to feel pretty isolated even when quite full. The minuses: The rooms on the 5/6/7th floors have seen better days….rooms near the hot spring baths on the 2/3 & 4th floors seems to be the best along with the Sakura rooms on the 8th floor. Pretty noisy from 7 am at the front of the hotel. Presence of groups at this time does not add to a feeling of safety. All in all…so glad that this hotel has survived the last year and a half! Would definitely stay again if I could get a good deal!

The hotel is close to JR Toba Station. The room is large and there is an ore hot spring bath. It is a role in treating diabetes. There are not many guests in the hotel, which is almost equivalent to a private hot spring.
