Booked a larger room (as most Japanese rooms are small) which states can accommodate up to 3 people. When we checked in, we were charged 3 pax even though we were only 2. Staff can’t speak English. Property is old and needs update. Views out of window show messy decrepit area which spoils the sea views.

Very nice hotel in Toba. I was lucky to be there when the weather was bright but the hotel empty so I spent a lot of time in the huge Onsen all by myself. Only thing for me as a foreigner, I had no possibility to contact the hotel beforehand for a pick up shuttle so just make sure you find a way early to reach out :)

Very amazing Japanese style hot spring hotel. On the day of check-in, there were very few people staying, probably because it was close to the Japanese New Year. But after communicating with the hotel, they still arranged a car to pick us up at Toba Station. The hot springs and the breakfast added after check-in were amazing. The only downside is that the hotel doesn't speak English, which made communication a little difficult. I will definitely visit again next time.

Because it was a last minute booking and it was a weekend, the price was high, so there were not many options, but it was better than expected. The staff was good, the room was okay, clean, the view was good, the parking was convenient, the onsen was good, both indoor and outdoor, but the floor was very slippery, both in the pool and on the walkway to the bath. The next morning, I switched rooms, and the other room was bigger and more comfortable.
