N+HOTEL Akihabara No.2

I was super surprised by the room size! For this price, having such a spacious room in central Tokyo is amazing – it's like a two-bedroom layout. One room had two beds, and the other had two tatami beds. In between the two rooms, there was more than enough space to lay out two large suitcases flat. The bathroom was also a three-piece separation, with great water pressure for showering and even a bathtub. My only minor gripe is that the blackout blind in the bathroom wasn't completely effective, so if you're sensitive to light, you might want to bring an eye mask. The hotel's location is also pretty good. While it's about a 13-minute walk to Akihabara JR station, it's only an 8-minute walk to the Akihabara subway station! Akihabara is super convenient for getting anywhere in Tokyo, and there are lots of great little restaurants around the subway station. Plus, you can explore electronics stores and Don Quijote in the evenings. The service was excellent too. The 24-hour front desk had staff who could speak Chinese, and there's a free self-service coffee and beverage bar nearby. The room was cleaned every two days, and it was very quiet.

It was alright. We booked a quad room with two futons and two beds, and it was a nice experience trying out the Japanese futon style. There's no breakfast, but a 7-Eleven nearby solves that problem. The Haruhi restaurant opposite the hotel was pretty good, and it's just a few minutes' walk from Akihabara. Overall, it was decent!

This was my first time staying at this hotel, and the room was quite new. The layout was much better than those older hotels with their illogical designs. Overall, it exceeded my expectations. The drink bar downstairs was excellent; it was great to have a refreshing drink after a day of sightseeing, and a coffee before heading out was also a nice touch. The only minor drawback is that it's a bit far from the main station, but there are several other stations nearby, so you can choose different lines depending on your destination, which is actually quite convenient. It's definitely worth considering for my next trip to Tokyo.

I booked a quad room. It had two single beds and two futons laid out on a tatami mat. The room wasn't huge, but it was perfectly adequate, and the bathroom facilities were comfortable. The staff at the front desk all spoke Chinese, which was very convenient. The hotel doesn't offer breakfast, but there's a convenience store nearby. There's also a tea room by the hotel entrance that you can open with your room card to cool down and enjoy free tea. The walls have doodle paper for guests. Directly opposite is a Haruhi Noodle Shop – I didn't get to try it, but I saw local office workers queuing up for lunch there. There's also a LUUP electric scooter rental right outside the hotel, which seemed quite affordable, though kids can't ride them. Overall, it's great value for money and I had a good experience.

The room is spacious, and there's a self-service beverage bar, which is great for enjoying ice-cold Coke in the summer. The service is exceptional, with very enthusiastic staff. The family suite is very roomy, and the facilities are complete, so you don't even need to bring a power adapter.

The hotel location is great, only about a ten-minute walk from Akihabara. The front desk staff spoke excellent Chinese, making communication very easy. Although the room was small, it was very clean.
