Facilities: The beds can be moved together, and the room isn't small. The open-air bath on the rooftop is very relaxing. Environment: Very convenient for getting to Ginza. Taking a taxi to and from the airport is even easier; it's about 8000 JPY from Haneda. Next time I'm shopping in Ginza, I'd consider staying here again.

This is an international chain hotel, and you see a lot of Westerners here. The room is quite small, with tatami mats throughout, and I appreciated the foot massage machine. There's also a public bath on the top floor. I used a Trip.com voucher, and the fact that there's no weekend surcharge makes it an amazing deal for a Tokyo hotel. If you were paying full price on a weekday, the value for money would be a bit lower.

I chose to stay in the Chuo ward near Tokyo Station again, mainly because it's convenient for Shinkansen travel and airport transfers. This time, I picked Ibis Styles Tokyo Ginza East, as I found a good package deal on Trip.com. It's about a 10-15 minute walk from Tokyo Station's Yaesu Exit, which isn't too far, and getting to Ginza is also quite easy. The area is relatively quiet, with the nearest convenience store a couple of hundred meters away. The hotel seems to promote eco-friendliness, as the room cards are made of wood. The room has a Japanese-style tatami design, with clear signs indicating shoe removal. There's a small vanity, a coffee table, and tatami seating, and the vanity mirror is quite large. For a twin room, it's quite good. There's a small rooftop terrace and a public bath, but both are rather compact. Compared to hotels near Shimbashi Station, it might not be the most convenient, but it was definitely great value for money for my travel dates.

The hotel exceeded my expectations. I'm usually not one to write reviews unless an experience is exceptionally bad or incredibly good, in which case I feel compelled to express my gratitude. I booked my room quite late, and the Richmond I usually stay at in Tokyo had become ridiculously expensive. Luckily, I caught a Trip.com 919 promotion and booked a 4-night stay. Normally, I wouldn't choose an Ibis Styles in my home country, but this Tokyo Ibis Styles is even better than the Mercure hotels under the Accor brand. My experience at the Mercure in Kyoto was frankly abysmal; I'll be sure to review just how terrible the Mercure Kyoto Station hotel is later. Service: The check-in was handled by a Chinese gentleman, and both he and the other front desk staff provided excellent service. On our last night, my child coughed and vomited in their sleep, dirtying the pillow, sheets, and duvet cover. I went down in the middle of the night to ask for help changing the duvet cover, and the front desk staff immediately moved us to a new room. I'm so incredibly grateful! They helped me change the bedding in the middle of the night and then moved us to a different room – I truly appreciate it. Cleanliness: It was very clean, bright, and spotless, even impressing my germaphobic Virgo tendencies. Transportation: Very convenient, with several subway stations nearby, making it easy to access different lines. I'd definitely choose to stay here again on my next trip to Tokyo.

The room was quite small, but it had everything we needed and was clean and tidy. The hotel's location is excellent, making it very convenient to get to Ginza. It's also very close to the subway station, just a few minutes' walk from the exit to the hotel.

The hygiene was acceptable, but the location is a bit out of the way, though it's not too far from Tokyo Station, which also means it's quiet. The room was indeed small, barely enough space to open a suitcase. The onsen upstairs was usually empty, so you can enjoy a soak. There's a Mini-stop or similar convenience store nearby that's quite convenient.
