Mercure Tokyo Hibiya (Ginza area)

The hotel facilities are great, and the staff are very friendly and enthusiastic. The front desk staff speak good English, making communication smooth. The hotel's location is excellent, as you can walk to Ginza. It offers great value for money.

This is a very new hotel. We paid around 1800 yen per night during Christmas, but the prime location made it worth it. It's super convenient for getting around Ginza, with tons of restaurants nearby, and only a 3-5 minute walk from Shimbashi Station. The soundproofing throughout the hotel is quite good; we weren't bothered by train noises at night. If you're really concerned, you could try requesting a room on the opposite side.

The hotel's decor style isn't really my taste; it's quite dim overall. If you're very sensitive to noise when sleeping, you should avoid lower-floor rooms facing the railway.

The location is excellent, just a few minutes' walk from Ginza for shopping. It's really great value for money, and I'm glad I booked a deal in advance. The hotel is newly renovated and everything is in great condition.

First off, the hotel's location is super convenient, really close to the Ginza shopping district. The lobby has a great design, and for a hotel of its class in Tokyo, the rooms are quite spacious. It's also very clean, and their policy for guests traveling with children is quite accommodating.
