room dated and not cleaned , staff sometimes helpful, sounds can be heard from construction site next to my room every morning

I’ve stayed here several times in the last years. Has all the amenities you need. Rooms are fairly spacious by Japanese standards and the coin washer and dryer do their job.  Usually I will travel around the country for some days in between and return to the hotel and they will store your luggage for free during the time you’re absent.  Neighbourhood is quiet but there are several supermarkets and restaurants within walking distance. For the price it’s my first choice as you’re in Ikebukuro within a few minutes by train.

Tokiwadai is a very quiet neighbourhood. Very near to the train station. Very cheap if you’re ok with exploring the other neighbourhood. The hotel has every essential. Will book there again is worth for the price.

I had a good rest while I stayed there. It is clean, quiet, and with a microwave for simple meal heating up. I will recommend it to someone who enjoys solo casual traveling around the local neighborhood. But it is a bit far if you like staying at the city center.

It's nice, clean, and minimal place to stay. Very close to Tokiwadai station. It's my second stay in this inn. Very good for the price.

very old , but the room is spacy, you may take trams, metro to there. Take my advice, not to take bus

Really excellent hotel and enjoyed too much living in this place. The traffic was terrific and it is quite closed to the train station. In addition, there is a lovely town centre with sufficient number of shops, restaurants and convenient stores. Once again, I am happy to live in this hotel and will definitely book again when I visit this area in Tokyo.

Nice little hotel, cheap and cheerful. Rooms have seen better days but if you’re just using it to sleep in then it’s no problem. Wonderful, kind staff. Tokiwadai nice little area good restaurants and local subway station Nice price. I will be staying again
