Hostel　JAZ

Very nice and very clean! Usually I stay in these kind of hostels in japan but this one is different than any other, it’s very very clean, the bed are very nice, plenty of space in the room and they have a 24/7 common area so you can chill and in my case working there! The location is just perfect, very close to the subway station if you don’t mind to walk a bit which I don’t because this area of tokyo is just so pretty!

I booked this hotel for a concert in Japan which located in hikosen theatre, so this is the perfect location where its only 3 minute walk to the venue. The closest station to go anywhere is Ueno which is around 15 min walk, and its also pretty close to Senso ji which is around 20 min walk away (the walk is really enjoyable that you wont notice!) The facilities are great and very clean, also very convenient to check in or check out without the help of staff. Overall recommended!

I stayed at Hotel Jaz for 3 nights and had a very comfortable experience. The location is excellent, with easy access to Ueno, Iriya, and Inaricho stations, making it convenient to travel around Tokyo. There are also plenty of cafes, restaurants, and convenience stores nearby, so finding food or anything you need is never a problem. The staff were incredibly friendly and helpful throughout my stay. The room was comfortable, and considering the location and service, I found the price to be very reasonable. The only downside is that the hotel does not have an elevator, so carrying large luggage up the stairs can be a bit inconvenient. However, the staff are very helpful and are always willing to assist guests with their luggage, which I really appreciated. Overall, I had a great stay and would definitely recommend this place to anyone planning to visit the Ueno area.

Great stay in Tokyo!! The hostel is clean and comfortable, location is also superb which is quite near to UENO station for JR and other sub lines. Recommended for those budget travelers who wanted to have a stay in Tokyo. Thanks!!! Btw only stairs here ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️

Stay Mid May 2026. Female Dorm for 5 nites. The location is great, 8 min walk to Ueno Station, Ameyoko Street, Keisei Ueno Station (to/from Narita Airport). The female dorm has 20 beds ensuite 2 shower room and 4 toilet. I wish they have an elevator so we won't get the stairs to carry out the luggage. Check in time strictly 3 pm, but you can leave the luggage & name tag at the 1st floor. The hostel provide communal room with microwave, oven toaster, utensils, drinking water, refrigerator and free coffee.Room amenities are bath sponge, tooth brush, razor, hair brush I am very appreciate the hospitality of the front desk ladies
