LANG HOTEL Ueno

The hotel's location is super convenient. It's about a 10-minute walk to Ueno shopping street, where there are tons of restaurants and shops to choose from. Getting to the train station takes about 15 minutes, which makes it really easy to get to the airport too.

The room was spacious and well-equipped, like an apartment, and the location was excellent. It's right next to a Lawson convenience store and very close to Ueno Station and Okachimachi Station, which is super convenient.

This hotel is fantastic, perfect for a family trip! There were five of us, and it didn't feel crowded at all. Two of us slept in the main room, and the others used the tatami area, which was super comfortable. Plus, it's very convenient with a convenience store nearby!

I stayed in a double room for two nights and had a good experience. Everything was great – the cleanliness, location, and spaciousness. My only minor complaints are that there was no window and the lighting was too dim. It felt like the room was only suitable for sleeping. It was frustrating trying to get ready in the morning or do my makeup because it was so dark. I'm not sure why it was designed this way. On the positive side, it was very quiet, which I liked. Ueno station and the bustling area are just a 5-10 minute walk away. The best part, though, was the hotel manager. They were incredibly friendly and didn't seem Japanese, spoke English well, and even used a translation app to communicate with me in Korean. That was truly excellent!

The location in Ueno is super convenient; it's only a 5-minute walk to Ameyoko and less than 15 minutes to the Ueno Skyliner station. For Ueno, the room is incredibly spacious. We had four large suitcases open with plenty of room to spare. It even has a washing machine and cooking facilities! The only downside is that the pillows are quite thin, and you can't get extra padding, so it wasn't the most comfortable sleep.
