YOTEL Tokyo Ginza

The lighting in the room is a nice feature. On the second day of our stay, we met a house‑keeping staff member. She was very friendly and helpful. One of the female front‑desk staff had an average service attitude. Check‑in is self‑service, which I found rather underwhelming. There was only one staff member at the front desk, who was busy on the phone and couldn’t offer any assistance. The actual king‑bed room looked nothing like the photos. We got a corner room. We booked based on the pictures shown, so there was a clear mismatch between the advertised room and what we received. The hotel offers a voucher for the first‑floor shops if guests opt out of housekeeping. However, nobody informed us about this policy at check‑in. We hung both signs on our door as instructed, but nothing happened. In the end, our room was not cleaned, and we did not receive the voucher either.

Had a great stay at YOTEL. Extremely safe for solo female traveller. Rooms were slightly bigger than typical hotel rooms in Tokyo. Incredible clean. Equipped with iron, ironing board and hair dryer. Separate shower and WC. Purified water dispenser is also a lovely plus in addition to the water bottles supplied with every clean. Fabulous location - short 5 min walking distance to the heart of Ginza whilst maintaining quietness for restful sleep. Walking distance to Shimbashi station, Family Mart around the corner and 2 Don Quixotes. About 7-10 minutes walk to Ginza station (Ginza line) which is very accessible to other neighbourhoods (Omotesando, Ebisu, Roppongi). Lots of food and coffee options minutes away. Would 100% stay again!

Location was 5 mins walk to Ginza and Asakusa line. As the hotel is still quite new the room has modern amenities such as USB point on the bedside and an electric sofa bed. The walk in shower is well designed with shower doors that open inwards so you don’t leak water out. Room feels spacious. Only wish there was a luggage stand.

the hotel pretty new and close to the subway station and ginza, everything is good beside the internet connection is the worst wifi i’ve used.
