the Moto Hotel Ueno II

Hello! Here's my review for the 'Road to the Airport' trip. My high school son, my friend, her high school daughter, and I (4 people total) stayed for 2 nights and 3 days. [Kudos to Trip.com!] Booking accommodation, confirmation, payment – searching was easy and the explanations were clear. Thank you! Even I, someone who's not tech-savvy, could do it easily. [Kudos to The Moto Hotel Ueno!] This was a friendship trip with my best friend and our kids, plus a family trip. The separate bedrooms here were absolutely perfect for us! 👍 The building and the accommodation in general are clean and tidy. I got the impression that it's well-maintained, and the staff at the lobby were also pleasant and friendly. The bedding (dust is natural for fabric, so that's understandable ^^), furniture, appliances, separate shower room, and toilet were all clean with no signs of mold. There were plenty of towels (large and small), and disposable toothbrushes and toothpaste were provided, along with shower gel and body gel. We used our own personal items, but if you're traveling suddenly or are undecided, you don't need to worry. There were also plenty of hangers and individual indoor slippers. The moms were very satisfied and we had a great time relaxing, eating, and enjoying ourselves. The kids also had a good time. It's less than a 10-minute walk from Ueno Station (a quiet neighborhood – excellent ^^), and there are two convenience stores (Lawson, FamilyMart) within 3-5 minutes. We had a great stay and will definitely consider returning!! To the owner and all the staff, please stay healthy in this hot weather and be happy! Wishing you continued success!

The supermarket (open until midnight), a 24-hour McDonald's, and Karu Sushi restaurant are all just a few minutes' walk away. It's also super convenient to get to the JR and subway stations, which are also only a few minutes away.

The location is close to Ueno Station. However, rooms in Tokyo are generally not very spacious. Overall, it was clean. It's quite a walk to the subway station; with luggage, it takes about 15-20 minutes.

This place is super spacious with great AC, perfect for a group of friends or brothers. The living room is big and it has basic cooking facilities. It's clean, well-lit, and not far from the station, with FamilyMart, Lawson, and 7-Eleven nearby. Honestly, this place is awesome! They even let us drop off our luggage at the room door before check-in. There's also a comfortable smoking room and laundry room on the first floor. Security is excellent too, as you need a password to get in the main door. Definitely worth staying here.
