Overseas travel. Unmanned accommodation.
I was very worried,
but thanks to the kindness of Trip.com and the accommodation,
I had a great time.
1. Check-in. I checked in online, but they had individual video check-ins using QR codes on the wall inside the accommodation. Even if everyone in my group didn't check in at the same time, I could log in again and check in. We checked in individually.
2. Check-out. I was nervous because it was unmanned and the sign said check-out wasn't allowed after 10 PM.
I was worried about my nephew, who was leaving early, checking out, so I used the QR code.
Since check-in was individual, I assumed check-out was also individual, but I checked out immediately. I contacted Trip.com and the accommodation to correct the situation.
I was very nervous because I couldn't check out on my actual check-out day, but Trip.com helped me resolve the issue. Check-out was a one-time process.
3. If a problem arises overseas, Trip.com's customer service center can be used to resolve it through the internet phone service.
4. Most accommodations in Japan (and overseas) are double rooms. I was looking for a triple room, but when I found one, it was with an extra sofa bed. This room is basically a quadruple room with a single bed, twin beds, and a sofa bed. The price isn't expensive. It's a large apartment-style room, roughly 12 pyeong (approximately 40 square meters). It's equipped with a washing machine, corded vacuum cleaner, microwave, cordless kettle, gas stove, dining table, sofa and side table, TV, closet, shelves, and plenty of electric kettle. (However, there's no hair dryer.)
It's a very comfortable place to stay.
The key is in a locker outside the door, so make sure to lock the door properly.
The bathroom and bathroom (including the laundry room) are separated on either side of the entrance. The sinks are conveniently separated into each area. The bathroom water pressure is good.
The air conditioning is controlled in the room.
If the partition between the room and living room is closed, heat can't escape, making it colder than the living room in the morning. ^^
Only two towels (one for washing and one for showering) are provided per person checking in. Since I have to take care of the kids, I run the washing machine before going out, spin-dry it in the evening, and hang it out to dry. This helps with the humidification effect and makes it perfect for use in the morning.
5. The station is generally a 15-minute walk away. It's a nice workout.
6. Check-in is at 4 PM, check-out is at 10 AM. It's usually between 3 PM and 11 PM, which is a shame. ^^
Still, I'd definitely visit again.
It was really convenient.
