InterContinental Tokyo Bay

My stay at the InterContinental Tokyo Bay was absolutely delightful. The hotel boasts an excellent location, making it incredibly convenient for exploring the city – whether it's for shopping, sightseeing, or visiting nearby attractions. What truly stood out was the Executive Lounge; its elegant and comfortable ambiance, coupled with floor-to-ceiling windows overlooking the stunning Tokyo Bay, was simply breathtaking. During the day, I enjoyed the expansive sea views and watching the boats go by, while at night, the dazzling bay city lights created a wonderfully relaxing atmosphere. The food and beverage offerings in the lounge were also top-notch, from afternoon tea to light evening meals, everything contributed to a sense of relaxation and enjoyment. The hotel staff were exceptionally warm and attentive, and both check-in and check-out processes were very efficient. Overall, whether you're traveling for business or a family vacation, this hotel is highly recommendable. I would definitely consider staying here again on my next trip to Tokyo.

Here are a few tips for staying at the InterContinental Tokyo Bay: 1) Try to book a high-floor, ocean-view room. The difference in scenery is significant. 2) Breakfast offers a wide variety, but it can get crowded during peak hours, so it's best to go at off-peak times. 3) The hotel has a quiet atmosphere, perfect for families or a relaxing getaway. It might not be ideal for those who want to frequently visit the city center. 4) You can enjoy walks around the hotel, and the Tokyo Bay night view is a definite bonus. 5) Remember to bring a travel adapter, as Japanese outlets are different.

A bit pricey, but everything else was perfect. The room offered stunning views of Tokyo Bay.

This was my first trip to Japan, and after much deliberation and reading countless reviews, I finally settled on this hotel. The triple room was incredibly spacious, as was the bathroom, and it even came with a Nespresso machine – I was absolutely thrilled! The hotel staff were also exceptionally helpful and professional. The hotel is conveniently located right next to Takeshiba Station, and within a 10-minute walk, you can reach JR lines and other subway stations, eliminating the need to stay in the bustling city center. Within a few minutes' walk, there's also a FamilyMart convenience store (which sells medicine) and a cafe. It's truly super convenient. You can even walk to the nearby Tokyo Tower in under half an hour. I highly recommend this hotel!! 👍👍

The room was clean and tidy, with great attention to detail. The service was excellent, and the location was very convenient. Breakfast was plentiful, and it's very close to the subway station, making it perfect for both business trips and leisure travel. There's also a Tokyo Bay walkway right outside the hotel, which is lovely for a relaxing evening stroll to enjoy the night views and the breeze. It's a peaceful and healing experience.

Facilities: Extremely clean, as expected from Japanese standards. Hygiene: Very clean, with sanitizers available everywhere. Ambiance: Very old-school elegant, the bedding is super comfortable, and I really loved the bathroom mirror – it's perfect for photos! Service: Absolutely on point!!!!

Even though it's an older hotel, the room decor is very bright and modern. Aside from the bathroom, which shows its age and isn't very comfortable, the rest of the room feels like a new hotel. The sea view is beautiful and breakfast is good. The service was a bit subpar. My IHG member welcome amenity was only delivered to my room a day after check-in. Also, when I tried to check in before 3 PM, the front desk wanted to charge me extra for an early check-in, even if it meant an upgrade. I haven't encountered this situation before at hotels of this caliber in Japan.

The room was spacious with a beautiful sea view. The kids loved watching the containers being loaded and unloaded. The service was professional, and the breakfast was good, especially the Udon noodles, which I highly recommend. I would consider staying here again.
