Hotel Comfact

The hotel was a bit hard to find, but the room was quite clean, and the power outlets worked perfectly. It's very convenient for getting to Ueno, where there are tons of food options. I'd definitely choose to stay here again next time.

The hotel is located in Taitung District, about 400m from the nearest subway station, so transportation is quite convenient. Although the room is small, it's tidy and clean. The front desk staff provided excellent service, and I was even able to store my luggage for a long time after checking out. I would definitely choose this hotel again next time.

The hotel is a bit of a walk from the train station, about ten minutes. It's a decent, no-frills place. There's even a small drugstore on the first floor that carries popular items, which is super convenient if you don't have time to shop around. It's also really close to Ueno Park, so it was easy to take a stroll there. I even stumbled upon an original artwork exhibition for City Hunter!

The service was pretty good. We arrived early due to rain, and they let us check in ahead of time that night. The location is decent, about 1km from JR Ueno and 1.2km from Keisei Ueno (airport express). If you're dragging luggage, the wheel noise might be a bit awkward in the residential area. It's also convenient for Ueno Park and the shopping district. The room is small, but well-equipped and the bed is comfortable. The only downside is the window. Although there is one, perhaps because it's on a lower floor, it only opens a tiny bit, so there isn't much natural light. Plus, the curtains are replaced by a wooden board, making the room very dark during the day, so you always have to keep the lights on. Overall, it's just okay.
