Super Hotel Jr Ueno Iriyaguchi

A standard Japanese chain hotel, clean and tidy. On the first floor, there are complimentary toiletries and beverages. Breakfast is served in the morning, and drinks are available in the evening. They also offer a variety of pillows to choose from, which is a very thoughtful touch. The only drawback is that the room is small; it's quite a squeeze to open a large suitcase flat.

Booked a double room with a random room type, and it was a bit small. I could only open my suitcase by the door, and only one at a time, which made packing and unpacking a bit difficult. The breakfast area was also quite small. While the selection wasn't huge, it was acceptable. They provided disposable amenities, a bathtub, a washing machine, and a dryer. It's super convenient, only a 5-10 minute walk from Ueno Station.

The location is quite convenient. The room isn't huge, but it has everything you need. The complimentary breakfast has limited options, but it's enough to fill you up. The front desk offers free drinks from 5 PM to 9 PM.

The hotel was pretty good, very clean and offered a simple breakfast. My only minor complaint is that I booked in advance, but on the day of arrival, I found the price was actually cheaper. Unfortunately, it was already past the full refund period, so I couldn't rebook. That was quite frustrating.

I booked this for a colleague. In the mornings, they offer coffee, salad, bread, miso soup, Japanese side dishes, and natto. There's no large public bath here, but the in-room bathtub is very comfortable for a soak.
