Hotel JAL City Tokyo Toyosu

This is my go-to hotel when I'm on a business trip. It offers great value for money and is conveniently located close to the train station. Having a 24-hour convenience store downstairs is a huge plus. The breakfast selection is also quite good. Check-in and check-out were both very quick and smooth.

Booked this Tokyo hotel last minute. The deluxe twin room was very spacious. There's a direct bus to Haneda Airport from the front of the market, but it only runs twice a day. It's the best choice if you're planning to eat sushi at Toyosu Market. There's also a direct bus to Shimbashi that passes through Tsukiji, making it convenient to get to the city center.

I frequently stay at Hotel JAL City Toyosu. The omakase chef at Toyosu Market already recognizes me! What impresses me most about this hotel is how clean and hygienic it is. Plus, having a convenience store downstairs is a huge plus.

AVOID! Fleas! Run! The location is super convenient, and I thought I'd found a new value-for-money hotel. But on the very first day, I got severely 'educated' by fleas. I went to change rooms at night, and the front desk staff, who spoke Chinese, handled it immediately. However, as soon as I sat down in the new room, I was shocked! What were these little pills on the floor? I used AI to check, and they were anti-epileptic medication pills. Oh my god, does this hotel even clean?! I was itchy for five days straight, seriously, help!

The hotel felt quite spacious in its layout, with a great wet/dry separation in the bathroom. In terms of transport, there are bus stops and a private railway line right outside, though it's a bit inconvenient that it's not on the Toei Metro, which adds a little to travel costs. Overall, it's good, and I'd consider staying here again.

This was my second stay here. The room was clean and odor-free, though on the first night there was a bit of an echo from the air conditioning ducts, but that disappeared for the rest of my stay. It's really good value for money, and easy to get in and out.
