Use the coin laundry nearby instead of the washing machine provided on the 8th floor, washing takes 1hr and drying another 1hr and it did not even dry, wanted to dry again but could. It even insert any coins after the first drying cycle, and there was no receptionist to assist. The room cleaning was ok for everything except there was a Uniqlo shirt size sticker on the bed frame that was not removed even after 3 room cleanings

It's about 15-20mins walk from the nearest train station and to the temple. nice clean hotel with very spacious bathroom which come with bathtub for you to relax and soak.

Asakusa Yoshino Hotel: A Tranquil Edo-Style Inn Amidst the Bustle I was absolutely charmed by Asakusa Yoshino Hotel on my first stay! It's a mere 5-minute walk to Senso-ji Temple and Kaminarimon, making it incredibly convenient for exploring Nakamise Shopping Street and taking a rickshaw ride. Yet, it's tucked away in an alley, offering surprising peace and quiet. The Japanese tatami room was spotlessly clean and refreshing, with wooden furniture and paper sliding doors. Before bed, sitting cross-legged and gazing at the old streetlights outside the window, felt like stepping back into the Edo period. The owners are a super friendly couple; communication in English was no problem, and they even proactively recommended a fantastic tempura spot nearby. For breakfast, you can choose between a Japanese set meal or a Western-style light breakfast – the miso soup was unbelievably delicious! They even gave us a small souvenir upon check-out, showing incredible attention to detail. For those on a budget who want an authentic Tokyo experience, this place is a no-brainer – the value for money is outstanding!

This hotel is walking distance from senso-ji temple, it will be great location for youngsters but if with elders, it is at least a 10 mins walking distance. But overall it's great and convenient as there is a family mart 2 mins away. Bathroom is with the japan household style whereby there is a bathtub and a place for shower like how it showed in anime.

Great stay in Tokyo! The hotel is a bit of a walk from the train station, but the riverside location is very peaceful. There are several convenience stores nearby which was very handy. While the room was a bit narrow (typical for Japan), it was very nice and clean. The bathroom was excellent, very well-equipped with a great automatic toilet and strong hot water pressure. The A/C worked perfectly, and the check-in process was quick and simple. Perfect for travelers who don't mind a short walk for a quieter area.

The hotel is nice, it's quite spacious, quiet and has all the necessary tools. The view on the skytree tower is also terrific. The pillows are also not the worst. I would stay there one more time, but there are some small cons, of course: - the furniture may be a little bit worn out, - there is a kettle but no tea etc. - reception staff is not that often seen but we didn't have any problems to need them - distance from the subway and buses, especially if you use the Tokyo metro pass. To summarize: for me the price-quality ratio here for Tokyo is quite good, moreover in this district I wouldn't like to live near the subway as it gets super crowded and noisy.
