Perfect stay

It was small but quite nice. Location was the best. Easily accessible from Asakusa station.

I was extremely satisfied with my stay at Asakusa Kaminarimon Takenoyado. Located near Kaminarimon Gate and Senso-ji Temple, it's within walking distance of major attractions, and surrounded by restaurants and convenience stores, making it very convenient for independent travelers. The room was clean and tidy, with a warm and comfortable Japanese style. Although not large, the design was practical and very relaxing. The bed was comfortable, and it was quiet at night, allowing me to rest well after a long day of sightseeing in Tokyo. The staff were friendly and polite, the check-in process was smooth, and they provided prompt assistance with any issues, making me feel very at ease. Overall, it's a small inn with excellent value for money and a great location. If I come to Asakusa again, I will definitely choose Takenoyado again and recommend it to my friends. Thank you for the wonderful stay!

It's really big! There's a famous sushi restaurant across the street. I'm staying here by myself, but it feels like one of the biggest hotels in Tokyo. It's really nice. Senso-ji Temple is also very close by, haha.

This accommodation was a pleasant surprise during our trip to Tokyo. The room was well-equipped and spacious; the wardrobe was huge, easily accommodating two large suitcases while still taking up half the space. The bathroom had a separate shower and toilet and was also very roomy. It's a five-minute walk from Senso-ji Temple, and the subway access is very convenient, with plenty of places to eat and drink nearby. Overall, we were very satisfied with the hotel and highly recommend it.

Staying at this hotel was a treasure hunt during my trip to Japan! It was a fantastic choice! It's located in a very quiet area, close to many subway stations, and conveniently located to Senso-ji Temple! There's a gym right next to it, so if you can't sleep at night, you can use it 24/7. Also, the hotel was impeccably clean and comfortable! I even had a great time sleeping in my bathrobe! They also have 24/7 miso soup, hot and cold water, and sencha! Excellent :) I'll definitely be back!

It's pretty good, but the quilt is too thick. It's very close to Asakusa attractions. It's very convenient to go out for a popular breakfast and then visit Sensoji Temple at night. I didn't expect the whole building to be so small with only two rooms.

The front desk staff were incredibly friendly and polite! The room was clean, tidy, and odor-free. There was enough space to easily unfold two suitcases. Thank you for making our wonderful trip even more welcoming! 🤗

Two units per floor, relatively quiet. Approximately 6-7 minutes walk to the station. Donki is about a 10-minute walk. Near Kaminarimon Gate and Senso-ji Temple. Convenience stores are also nearby.

Excellent hotel in Asakusa. Very polite and pleasant staff. The rooms are clean and comfortable. Next time I visit Tokyo, I will definitely stay here again.

It is about five minutes away from Sensoji Temple. It is not noisy because it is in an alley. The room is large for Tokyo and you can open two 30-inch suitcases and still walk. Not located between Zoumae Station and Sensōji Station.

Very satisfying accommodation experience! Stayed for 5 nights in total. I went out to play during the day and came back late at night. The security facilities at the door were very good and you need to swipe your card to enter. There are usually two front desk staff taking turns: one speaks fluent English and the other speaks simple English and simple Chinese. There is an instant coffee machine in the hotel for free use.

This hotel is run as a small hotel with relatively few staff. There is only one person at the counter to help with arrangements at a time, but it is enough. And their basic English communication is also OK, the staff are very friendly.  The double room is generally good, with a retro cement style, and it is more spacious than most new hotels in Tokyo. At least there is space for two people's suitcases to be fully opened. The bathroom is divided into a toilet cubicle (without door) and a shower room (with door). It is clean and tidy, and has toothbrushes, hair dryers, towels and other supplies. There is a water dispenser in the lobby on the basement level (1st floor) that can dispense hot water, cold water, coffee, and noodle soup. If it rains, transparent umbrellas are available for rent in the lobby. In addition, the hotel can lend portable electronic scales to guests.  The only drawback is that it is a bit far from the subway station. It is closer to Exit 3 of Tawaramachi subway station, but the elevator is at Exit 1, so tourists with large luggage should pay attention. But it's easy to get there by looking at the map. 

It is a small hotel with 1 floor and 2 rooms. It is clean, new, and spacious. It is convenient to travel and is near Sensoji Temple. You can walk to Don Quijote.
