Reviews of Stay Sakura Tokyo Asakusa Yokozuna Hotel

The room was quite big compared with other hotel rooms in Japan. All the facilities were clean and enough. And particularly they give to the customer free bar =) it was the very first experience which was given the free alcohol for drinks. However if I have to choose only one reason to stay here, it will be the location. Sensoji temple was very close so that we can smell the temples insence stick =)) Thanks for giving us what a great memories.

Clean and comfortable hotel, suitable for family, walking distance to Asakusa Station.

If you want a place in Asakusa, Stay Sakura is the best. Just next to Sensoji temple and a 6-7 min walk to Asakusa station. It was a perfect stay with kids.

Our second stay at Asakusa Yokozuna and we have recommended more friends and family to come, along with having plans to visit again if we're ever in Tokyo. The facilities are greater than the hotel rating lets on and better looking than in the photos. Whilst "24/7" reception support means that someone will pick up your call outside of the approx. 9am-10pm with limited ability to help solve more complex issues or queries related to the bookings (as they don't have access to the system), if visitors plan around this, everything works out fine!

The room size is pretty large. Overall is good but not really near to station, really depend on which line you go…

The hotel is about a 10-minute walk from Sensō-ji Temple/Kaminarimon. The hotel is approximately a 20-minute walk from Asakusa Station. The location is close to residential areas. I live on the second floor and it is very quiet. There is Lawson and an izakaya downstairs. Stayed for 3 nights, and when I checked in, I was told that there would be no cleaning. Room cleaning will only be arranged after staying 4 nights. The room is quite big, with a small living room. It feels good. The shower and toilet are separate, which is nice. The refrigerator is stocked with plenty of beer, green tea and orange juice, all provided free of charge. But since they left early and came back late, they didn't drink enough of their drinks.

The hotel is very close to Sensoji Temple. The reception is on the second floor. You have to take the elevator to the second floor to see it. The elevator is very small, the room is also very small, and the corridor is also very narrow. It is not like a hotel or a famous hotel. There is a window in the room without curtains, and it is decorated with a Japanese-style wooden bed. The whole room is bright at around 5 o'clock in the morning, which really makes people unable to sleep. I don't know what the hotel owner thinks. Another thing worth complaining about is that the room is cleaned once every two days. I couldn't find the front desk staff when I checked out. I would never book it if I knew this situation.

This small hotel is in Asakusa district. It takes 2-3 minutes to walk to Kaminarimon Gate. Although it is close to tourist attractions, the hotel is in an alley and has a quiet environment. There are also many restaurants and drug stores nearby. It is very convenient and can be easily accessed by the subway. Or it takes more than ten minutes to reach the railway station, which is not suitable for the elderly. It is worth praising, the front desk service is very good, the waiters are helpful, and their English skills are also good!

The hotel is conveniently located very close to Remon, the room is clean! The terrace is spacious and comfortable. We stayed 6 days, before check-in need to agree on one of the cleaning days, we checked in on the 20th, requested 22/4 cleaning, then I asked for 24/4 cleaning, only maybe did not request two cleanings before check-in, the hotel said it could not arrange, I had to request only garbage and change towels, staff can handle. No other toothbrushes were provided, but packaged toothpaste was available for an overall pleasant stay. I'm sorry.

It's very quiet in a residential area, but not too far from nearby restaurants. Although the bathroom is not big, it has everything you need. It's very comfortable to live in. The terrace outside the room is large, and with the clothes drying rack provided by the hotel, it is very convenient to dry clothes. It worked quickly, but it's a little far from the station. Sometimes I feel a little inconvenient when I come back tired from going out, but I will still consider staying here in the future.

The location is about a 10-15 minute walk from Asakusa Station, so it's not that close, but it's a good location for exploring Asakusa. It's more spacious than basic Japanese accommodations, the windows are large, and you can see Skytree from the terrace. The water pressure in the bathroom is incredibly strong and the hot water comes out well. It's an accommodation that feels like a traditional Japanese home. And what's unique is that when you open the shelf, a sink appears for simple cooking.

The B&B has a good environment and a superior location. It is right next to the Kaminarimon Gate and is convenient for travel. The front desk guy is warm and thoughtful. A very satisfactory stay
