It's a very cozy, single-family apartment. The owner felt very familiar the moment we met. There's a small terrace, perfect for enjoying the breeze on summer nights. I regretted that I was in a rush to catch the bus with my luggage the next morning and forgot to put away the unpacked boxes. I didn't have time to apologize to the owner. I'll be back someday.

I stayed in room 101 for two days. The advantage is that compared with Japanese hotel rooms, the size is acceptable. The location is quiet and there is no interference for sleeping. It is a 20-minute walk to Shinjuku Station. The disadvantages are: there is a peculiar smell in the bathroom as soon as the door is opened, the shower curtain is very dirty, and the bathtub drains very slowly. If you stand in the rain for one minute, the water will flood your feet and it is difficult to drain. The room is very simple, and the back of the bed is directly against the wall and the window. I used disposable covers for all the bedding. If you are used to staying in a hotel, I don’t recommend it. Check-in is self-service, and it is a waste of time to find the reservation code. The experience is very bad. Because the typhoon did not come to Kyoto, I did not continue to stay and changed to another hotel. I will definitely not stay in this hotel next time.

It's a bit far from the station, but it's within walking distance from Shinjuku, and the facilities are satisfactory. The price is cheaper than other places, so it's great.
