Hotel Abest Meguro

Mixed feelings about this hotel. The location is great, but the service quality depends heavily on which receptionist you deal with. Unfortunately, our experience with one of them was very poor. We booked three different rooms for three groups of friends — one room for 1 night and the other two for 2 nights. The hotel did not clearly inform us which room was booked for only one night. Later, the receptionist attempted to charge us for an extra night, claiming that we stayed longer without informing the hotel, which was not true. After this issue was resolved and it was clear that we were not at fault, the receptionist’s attitude became unpleasant. He then attempted to charge us additional fees for storing our luggage in the hotel lobby, which felt unnecessary and retaliatory. This entire situation could have been avoided with clearer communication and more professional service.

Awesome hotel, in a great location! Opposite shopping malls etc... centralised with multiple train lines

The room is quite old though quite spacious. Location is convenient as it is just a 3 minute walk to Meguro station. Overall a reasonable stay.

Room is not clean  Breakfast is very filling, just only beef ( 1 person/steak)

Ok old but clean and good size room for Tokyo

NOT RECOMMENDED! Very old hotel and facilities. Room being cleaned after 4-days!! Information paper given us in English not mentioned 4-days cleaning regulation but in Chinese version stated! Poor service and unwelcoming attitude. 3 pm check-in, if you come a bit early, cannot check in.
