HOTEL MYSTAYS Higashi Ikebukuro

Hotel is very convenience and near to Sunshine City Hall. Hotel has fully equipped of bed, refrigerator and all amenity. Hotel is clean and great location.

The staff there are so nice and can speaking fluent English . The location is good as is near to one of the Tokyo hot spot - Ikebukuro and there are several restaurants and convenient stores nearby. Btw the room was bigger than the others with the same price range which our two big suitcases perfectly fit in !

The wonderful thing is the bed. It is very comfortable compared with other hotels.

Stayed at Hotel Mystays Higashi Ikebukuro and overall the location was decent, but the service experience was disappointing. One issue I faced was with room cleaning service. I left my room slightly after 12pm (around 12:01pm) and reached the reception around 12:03pm after waiting for the lift. When I requested for room cleaning, the staff informed me that housekeeping requests are only accepted from 9am to 12pm and that I had already missed the timing. Honestly, this felt unreasonable as room cleaning is normally a basic hotel service. Missing the timing by only a few minutes should not completely deny guests from getting housekeeping assistance. The staff was not flexible or understanding about the situation, which made the experience frustrating. Other than that, the room was acceptable for a short stay, but the strict housekeeping policy and lack of flexibility affected my overall impression of the hotel. Personally I would not come back again to stay at this hotel

The hotel is very lovely, with a great location surrounded by many restaurants and convenience stores. The staff were extremely helpful and even carried our luggage to the room for us. If I come back to Tokyo, I would definitely book this place again. The most interesting thing was that the indoor slippers were actually leather slippers.

It was a good hotel. The hotel is 10 minutes away from the nearest train station which made it convenient. There was also a seven eleven right across the street as well as food places near the hotel. The room and bed is big enough for two people and there is enough space to open two luggages. In conclusion, it was a good hotel for the price point and I wouldn’t mind staying here again.
