Reviews of HOTEL MYSTAYS Ueno Inaricho

I had a wonderful stay at this hotel in Tokyo and would happily recommend it to other travelers. The hotel is a real gem: clean, comfortable, and located in a quiet area between Ueno and Asakusa. The location was perfect, making it easy to reach many of Tokyo’s main attractions while still enjoying a peaceful neighborhood away from the crowds. The staff were always friendly, welcoming, and ready to help whenever I had a question. My room was cozy and well-equipped with everything I needed for a comfortable stay. As a solo traveler, I found it to be the perfect place to relax after long days of exploring the city. The area felt safe, calm, and convenient, with shops and transportation nearby. I’m very happy with my choice and would definitely stay here again on a future visit to Tokyo.

The hotel is conveniently located near a subway station, with a convenience store right across the street and restaurants nearby. The front desk staff were friendly and spoke English. Overall, it was good, but that's just my personal opinion.

Absolutely amazing hotel! The staff are so friendly and you can help your self to coffees, sugar & face wash which I thought was lovely! The rooms are spotless, a little small which we knew but we made do it with it and it was really cosy and comfy. The he location was great, away from the busy hustle but close to metro stations for you to get a tube. If I ever come back to Tokyo, I’d come back here again!

Location was good, quiet and away from buzz but close enough to everything

I came at night at the first day. The receptionist is so nice and he can speak Chinese, which allow me understand the policy and the rules. The location is really close at the metro station. Should be around 5mins walk distance. You can easily reach out 淺草，上野. Also, many convenience stores and chain stores are near the hotel. You don’t need to worry when you feel hungry. Although the room is small, the bed and the air con are good for rest and sleep. I recommend this hotel to solo backpacker!

The hotel room was small than I thought, but they had good location. around 5 mins walking distance to subway, and only 1 stop away from Ueno station.  Ventilation in bathroom was not strong enough and only few socket available in the room. Also, bottled water was not provided.

Friendly and helpful staff, great location with easy access to public transport and convenience stores. I had a very good experience during my stay. Highly recommended for anyone visiting Tokyo.

Good hotel to stay and it is very near metro station, easy to travel. Room are okay and comfortable to stay, love it and recommended.

The location is very easy to find and coveniently close to subway station. Hotel staff is friendly and hotel room is clean.

Mind service staff, room is clean no bad odor, love the free personal care product in bathtroom, not far from Inaricho station.

Not that good for me cause i expct that it has a balcony but it doesnt have. Room quite small and conpact.

The room was clean and quiet. I was pleasantly surprised to find a small balcony, even though there wasn't much of a view. The hotel staff were very professional, and they even prepared a diagram showing guests how to get from the hotel to the train station, and then by train to the airport, which was incredibly helpful for travelers.

This is a pretty standard, no-frills hotel. The location is about a 10-15 minute walk from the station, which is fairly convenient. The only downside is that it's a bit hard to find, as it's tucked away in a less obvious spot. As for the rooms, think of something similar to a budget chain hotel in China.
