Sheraton Miyako Hotel Tokyo

The room was quite spacious for Tokyo standards, and the hotel's public areas were also beautiful. The shuttle service to Meguro Station was very convenient. We chose this hotel mainly because we planned to shop in Ginza and Omotesando, and its location is great for both subway and taxi travel. The teppanyaki restaurant on B2, however, was just okay – not particularly recommended.

The hotel is clean and comfortable, conveniently located, and offers great service.

The ambiance, atmosphere, and service were all excellent.

The hotel isn't right next to a subway station, but the shuttle bus service is super convenient, running every 15 minutes to and from Meguro Station. It pretty much covers all your transportation needs. It wasn't until after we checked out that we realized they'd upgraded our room type! It was definitely bigger, and we could easily spread out three 28-inch suitcases, which was really handy. The only downside was that the facilities felt a bit old. Even though it had been renovated, there was still an unpleasant smell from the sink drain in the bathroom.

There's a huge difference between the Executive Floor and the Comfort Floor. My friend stayed on the Executive Floor, and it was completely renovated. Even the amenities like slippers and toothbrushes were different and much better on the Executive Floor. The Executive Floor mini-bar had drinks, while the Comfort Floor had nothing, not even a bathrobe. The Comfort Floor didn't even have a laundry bag, which made me think there wasn't a laundry service. Overall, the Comfort Floor felt like an old hotel from twenty years ago. Also, the ancient swimming pool here costs money, even for Titanium members, and it's very old. The only upside is that the room was quite spacious.
