Reviews of The Royal Park Hotel Iconic Tokyo Shiodome

First time staying and it was not disappointing. The aircon and water pressure and hot water controls are definitely good. Location there’s no complaints as the main Shiodome/Shimbashi train station is below the hotel building so rain or shine transport’s there. Many business travellers and not much family goers so the general atmosphere is quiet. Front desk is efficient and gets **** done very quickly. Oh yes, the airport bus limousine transfers at the hotel for Narita which is great for worry free transport. Only letdown was the morning breakfast buffet spread which was small but acceptable. Taste was decent. I will stay again when I’m there for sure. It’s either Shimbashi or Odaiba Bay.

Suitable for business. Next to Shiodome station (station level just take from B2), 5 min walk to Shimbashi station with many lines. However room layout is a bit weird. Despite the big size, couldn’t open 2 28” luggage. Made 2 bookings with 2 diff type of room. One with skyline view (layout lesser space), one with building view (layout has more space) Tokyo tower cannot be viewed even on public facilities. All rooms come with bathtub.

Great location, with connectivity to train stations. Also a short 15min walk to Tsukiji market.

Best feature - It has both a laundromat as well as hotel laundry service. You need a key card to use it, very thoughtful! Best reason to stay here: Shimbashi is a stone’s throw away from Tsukiji with fabulous breakfast choices, you can even take the train if you don’t want to walk there (one stop from Oedo Line). The Shiodome Yurikamone line connects to Toyosu in 30min. Shinjuku, Harajuku, Shibuya - all around 30min train ride away. Same for Haneda airport. Shimbashi is also nearer to Yokohama.

Overall a decent experience with good view! The room size good enough for one person

We drove over and parked the car under the basement, and it was very convenient to walk directly from the basement carpark to the Lift and proceeding to Hotel Lobby at Level 24.

The room is okay size, the location is very good and convenient to take Metro to places

Overall, it was a great experience! The room was large and comfortable, which made our stay very enjoyable. We also appreciated the breakfast vouchers and the option to choose from three different restaurants for breakfast. The environment was quiet and pleasant, adding to our relaxation. However, we did find the location a bit challenging to locate due to the many bridges nearby, which made it difficult for Google Maps to guide us. It took us around 15 minutes to find the hotel, but once we arrived, everything was very good.

Very convenient next to the train station. Shall stay here again next time.. walking distance to Ginza

The hotel's location is excellent and the view is extraordinary.

Service was excellent. Even in the middle of the night there were staff answering request. Staff are polite and helpful and react to complaints immediately. Location is excellent with direct access to two major train stations although it is at the fringes of Ginza. Will stay there again

It was great all round. Perhaps it can be stated somewhere that the hotel is accessible underground from Shimbashi train station if you walk in the direction of Shiodome. This access made it so convenient to travel around Tokyo

I had been staying in this hotel for many years and it's very neat and tidy and convenience in terms of location. Highly recommended.
