Tokyo Bay Ariake Washington Hotel

Be aware that this room type is a Japanese/Western style room; if you're not comfortable with low platforms and no chairs, you might want to avoid it. The room is quite small, so opening a large suitcase isn't very convenient. However, for someone attending an exhibition at Big Sight alone, the location is incredibly convenient, saving a lot of time on early morning subway commutes. There's a McDonald's on the first floor of the hotel (on the opposite side of the lobby), and a Family Mart convenience store across the street. The airport shuttle stops right outside. The front desk provides plenty of toiletries, but the toothbrushes aren't very comfortable, so I recommend bringing your own. The staff are very nice, which is a big plus, especially the cleaning staff – the local ladies provide excellent service. It's also very convenient for taking the Rinkai Line and Yurikamome Line.

The environment is really great, with a plaza right below and a tram station across the street. The room was very clean.

The hotel boasts an excellent location, just a few minutes' walk from the Rinkai Line and Yurikamome Line. You can even see Tokyo Big Sight right from your window. While the room was a bit on the smaller side, there was still enough space.

The room size was a bit compact, but the lighting was good. The transportation was very convenient, so getting around wasn't a problem. It's more of a business area, so you'll need to go to Odaiba for shopping, but the scenery along the way is lovely. I recommend the sushi restaurant on the second floor.

This hotel boasts an excellent location, just a 5-minute walk to the Tokyo Big Sight International Exhibition Center and 10 minutes to Ariake Garden. It also offers convenient access to Ginza and Haneda Airport. The renovated rooms are clean, tidy, and comfortable. The front desk staff are friendly and helpful, and the breakfast offers a wide variety of options in a spacious and clean dining area. A truly wonderful stay!

Location is pretty average, and the service isn't particularly noteworthy; the front desk staff seemed quite unenthusiastic. The room being spacious is a plus. My fellow countrymen were a bit too noisy. Didn't try breakfast so can't comment. The commercial facilities nearby are decent.

Staying in a tatami room was a new experience! My only minor quibble was the TV being on the side of the bed, which felt a bit unusual. Otherwise, everything was super comfortable. This is the closest hotel to the exhibition center, and I've been staying here for years. The staff are always incredibly helpful, quick to answer questions and resolve any issues. And the breakfast? Consistently amazing!
