Bellustar Tokyo, A Pan Pacific Hotel

Bellustar is a new hotel in the Kabukicho district of Shinjuku; it opened just a couple of months ago, in May 2023. The reception is on the 18th floor of the building and the rooms and restaurant are on the 39-46th floors. (The intervening floors house a different, slightly less fancy hotel run by the same group.) The guest rooms are beautifully furnished and thoughtfully laid out and the views are spectacular with floor to ceiling windows. We had a North-West facing corner junior suite and we got an enjoyable view of the JR trains heading in and out of Shinjuku station. Unfortunately the soundproofing of the windows is not so great and even 40 floors up each train was distinctly audible. We have stayed in plenty of hotels in noisy environments (e.g. the Haneda Villa Fontaine Premier) with amazing soundproofing and so it is a pity that this new Bellustar couldn’t have done a better job on this front. It didn’t bother us so much, but lighter sleepers be warned. The main criticism we have of the hotel is the lack of warmth and kindness by the staff, particularly the restaurant staff. We had opted for a stay which included breakfast in the hotel restaurant every morning and each time we went up, instead of “Good morning”, the person at the restaurant reception would say “Stop!” or “Wait!” before asking for our room number. Very un-Japanese and not at all hospitable. The breakfast is a set menu (not a buffet) and it does not change — it is the same each day. On the first day my son ordered the French toast and it was nice but a pretty small portion. So the next day we requested two slices of French toast per serving. The waiter was reluctant to do this saying that an order has only one piece and when we pressed the issue, he said okay — but then when the order came, it was the same single piece, but sliced into two! This is really not what one expects from a high quality hotel. Overall, I would say that it is a fine hotel for a night or two. The staff need better training in hospitality — they fall short at this point. Perhaps the management will train them over time, it is still in its start-up phase.

Book and Bed Tokyo Shinjuku

Shinjuku Tokyo|0.65km from JR Shinjuku Station
It was the worst. The payment procedure on the website was completed the previous month and I received multiple confirmation emails for reservations with breakfast. It is okay to call the name if the check-in is 9 p.m. in the daytime, so when you go to 9 p.m., there is no name in the guest list. I showed all the driver's license for confirmation of the person, the email of the reservation confirmation, and the record of the exclusive site on the spot, but ”it is full today, so it cannot be stayed” and ”the reason of the airhost of the reservation system” It was the worst result that I was able to travel from the country to Tokyo and was driven out in the middle of the night during the bad weather when the typhoon approached. When I tell you that I'm paying my credit card, I say, ”Is it a day youth mistake?” The email presented and the confirmation page of the reservation site definitely write the date of check-in check-out, and there is breakfast (there are multiple evidence of reservation confirmation in front of you) So I was surprised that I couldn't stay at one point. If you complain to the receptionist, you can't help but complain, and because it is full, you will force someone out of the bad weather, so if you ask about the place where you can give up and stay nearby It is said that there is an Apa Hotel opposite, and when I go, the Apa Hotel is closed for a long time. It was quite a bit because the cheerful club at the west exit of Shinjuku Station, which another receptionist told me, was miraculously empty only one room, but this terrible experience is the first level in my life. The next day, I emailed you to tell you that I wanted you to disable the payment of your credit card, but there is no contact about apology or settlement processing. In that situation, I had an email that urged TripAdviser to post the impression ”how was the stay?” I thought that I would refrain from publishing it if I had a proper contact, but I will write it as a reminder so that I don't think I should do the same. It's horrible to think that if your child has the same experience.

Superb hotel, everything, bath, massage, all kinds of free drinks for a fee. It was clean and comfortable, the room was not stuffy at all, and the location was great, right at Shinjuku Station. There is a Taiwanese lady at the front desk who can speak Chinese, but there is a reception desk that seems to be India or something that feels bad attitude. Anyway, I will stay here next time

JR KYUSHU Hotel Blossom Shinjuku is very conveniently located just steps away from Shinjuku station, at the heart of the food and shopping district. The rooms are slightly dimmer and smaller, making them a cosy place to crash at night but not too much to stay in during the day. The bathroom is very clean and there’s a nice bathtub! Sadly, the hotel does not have any facilities like a pool or gym, and the toiletries and bathroom amenities are self service at reception, which I was not told about and did not see until checkout.

Hotel is situated at very good and easily identified location. You can effortlessly assess to JR line, express bus station, metro / subway and no need to worry about getting lost at the multiple exits Shinjuku Station. Airport Limousine Bus is just a stone throw away I.e. you can hop on or hop off at the Shinjuku South Gate or right at the Hotel entrance. The self-service amenities provided at the hotel lobby were very complete and at good quality. I will definitely choose this hotel for my next visit to Tokyo.

The hotel’s location is very nice, can take an limousine from airport to hotel, and it only take few minutes walk to Shinjuku Station. The room have a very nice view, can see Meiji Jingu and Yoyogi Park. But the sound insulation is a little problem, not saying about the other rooms, but saying about the window. I stay for three nights and i can hear the ambulance every night. All in all, I really recommend this hotel, the staff is nice, the location is good.

The corner house hotel has good service, and the pre-stored luggage has been moved to the room. The surrounding area is convenient for Rosen downstairs, normal bed, double bed non-mini, DHC bath, clothing deodorant, cost-effective in Shinjuku, recent tram exit 7 There is no elevator, there is luggage to go to the JR South Exit from the ground to do an elevator walk for 10-15 minutes.

If we had read the comments, we would not have booked, but the price and the position still worth it. The area is silent, the room no: walls of veil paper that give the corridor, where the only commonly used washing machines are placed, which are poorly hygienic. The bathroom is hot water, but only that is saved: it is dirty and muffy, shared men and women, and it cannot be closed by key; the Lord speaks a little English, you will understand yourself well, or even with the phone translator. The top was the ”prohibited smoking” cartel hangs over the ash full of cigarettes, cleaning, strangely reading the other comments, of the bedrooms (but only those).
