The Tong Marina Aparthotel is located where the turquoise waters of Issyk-Kul merge with the blue sky, against the backdrop of the silver-haired Tien Shan Mountains. We loved the hotel. The rooms are comfortable, with a kitchenette. The views are stunning. The staff is friendly and helpful, always ready to help. The breakfast selection is amazing. The coffee at the bar is excellent. Meat dishes are always available for dinner. We especially enjoyed the sauna and its cool pool. The grounds are well-maintained, with swings and a playground. Walking along the sandy and pebble beaches of Issyk-Kul was a true delight. We highly recommend the Tong Marina Hotel!"

"This is a mini hotel with different conditions in the rooms. We lived with our family in a “comfort” room, 1,300 soms for one person per night (5,200 soms for four). Two rooms, shared shower and toilet. One room has a double bed, the other has two single beds, a refrigerator, TV, soap, towels for everyone. It's a shame that there wasn't a closet to put things in, or at least hangers with hooks to hang things up. The area is very well maintained. There are many gazebos where vacationers eat if they cook themselves. There is a large children's playground. There are many fruit trees in the yard; the owners allow you to pick fruit from them. There is a large parking lot. You can order a bathhouse. Everything in the bathhouse is comfortable and well thought out: the steam room is upholstered in wood, 2 shower stalls, a toilet, a plunge pool with cold water, a relaxation room, sheets, towels, and hats. We did not prepare the food ourselves; we were fed by the chefs of this hotel. The food is all incredibly tasty, the portions are very large, the children did not eat everything, so later we ordered 3 servings for four. Three meals a day for 1 person 1300 soms per day. Here we booked an excursion to the Boorskon gorge. Four of us traveled in a passenger car. The driver Vladimir, who is also a tour guide, told everything very interestingly and took us to the waterfalls (4 thousand soms). I liked the excursion. 15 minutes walk to the beach. The beach is sand with stones, quite dirty, the entrance to the water is rocky. On the beach they offer umbrellas for rent for 200 soms, they sell boiled corn and smoked fish. On this southern coast, most people vacation in cars, so there’s probably a lot of people swimming on boards. Next to the road, as you exit/enter the beach, there are shops with grocery and beach goods. There is no traditional market with fruits here; you have to go to Kadzhi-Sai for them (200 som taxi). I bought fruits from the hotel workers (cherries, raspberries 250 soms per kg. This is two times cheaper than on the northern shore in Cholpon-Ata at the market)."
