Villa Resort Silily Mangeta Daqishan

This time in Tonglu, I chose a hotel with a local vibe, close to Daqishan Scenic Area, with a sign right at the intersection pointing to the park. The hotel is designed in a courtyard-style, folk-house aesthetic, blending with the backdrop of Daqishan to create a picturesque scene reminiscent of the 'Dwelling in the Fuchun Mountains' painting. It's very atmospheric and perfect for travel photography, a service the hotel offers for free. I booked an open-plan room, which was quite spacious and minimally decorated. The large balcony overlooked the courtyard architecture. The bathroom was also big, with a separate wet and dry area, double sinks, and a bathtub. Even the hairdryer was a Dyson. There's no coffee machine, but they provide pour-over drip coffee bags. The fridge drinks are free but limited. Welcome fruit was provided, as was a complimentary afternoon tea with a drink and a piece of cake – though the basement where it's served had a strong damp smell, making it not ideal for lingering. Breakfast is served in the ground-floor restaurant, with a good variety and quality of food. Service was excellent, prompt, and welcoming. However, the TV's screen-casting function, the cleanliness of the fabric sofa, and the damp smell in the basement (where the gym and pool are located) are areas that need improvement.

Shilili Hotel truly exceeded my expectations! The elegant ambiance captivated me the moment I stepped in. The new Chinese-style design radiates beauty everywhere you look, with white walls, black tiles, and flowing courtyard water – it felt like living inside a traditional Jiangnan ink wash painting. The room was clean and tidy, the bedding soft and comfortable, and the decor details were very thoughtfully arranged. The service was warm and attentive; everything from check-in to check-out was seamless. They even provided welcome fruits and warm tea snacks. Breakfast was abundant and fresh, and the public areas were quiet and elegant, perfect for taking photos. The overall experience was cozy and healing, perfectly embodying their 'love and beauty' philosophy. I will definitely choose this hotel again for my next trip. Highly recommended!

I added the butler service in advance, which was incredibly thoughtful. We stayed in a family room for two nights, and the room type was excellent, perfect for a family. The cleanliness was also superb, which deserves a special mention – the cleaning on the second day was just as meticulous. They were very responsive to all our requests, so I highly recommend this place. The breakfast was great value for money and tasted very good. We arrived late on the first night, so we didn't feel like going out for dinner and ate at the hotel instead. The portions were generous, the food was delicious, and the service was very friendly. The family-friendly facilities are great for kids, and there's OMG Heartbeat Park nearby.

Traveling with my kids and my mom, a suite was the perfect choice. The hotel's overall environment and service were incredibly comfortable. The kids absolutely loved the playground and didn't want to leave! And for us gaming-addicted parents, the e-sports room was fantastic for some late-night co-op. If I had to pick one minor issue, the hairdryer in the suite could use an upgrade; the nozzle gets a bit too hot and could burn you.

This is a great hotel! The environment and service were excellent. We were even lucky enough to get a room upgrade. It was absolutely perfect. The complimentary photoshoot provided by the hotel was also fantastic; the photographer was very professional and enthusiastic. I'm really satisfied. I'll definitely choose this hotel again next time.

The hotel boasts a beautiful environment, with its Jiangnan-style courtyard architecture, white walls, and black tiles, creating a unique charm. The rooms and public areas are clean and comfortable, and all amenities are well-equipped. The service is also excellent. The only downsides are that the room is a bit small, with barely enough space for anything beyond the two beds, and the breakfast selection is relatively limited.

For this family trip, we booked a duplex family room, and we were very satisfied with everything. The room was very clean, and the facilities were complete. We especially loved the Jiangnan-style courtyard and the complimentary travel photography session.
